What is Wrike?

Wrike Content Marketing Software is a top-of-the-line platform designed to help marketers optimize the way they plan their content and execute campaigns. It provides a full suite of features that tackle content planning, creation, scheduling, and more. With this, they can effortlessly create quality articles, videos, social media posts, and similar content that are well-timed. Moreover, this platform can support a number of integrations to help you enhance your user experience.

To top it all off, Wrike Content Marketing Software offers a free plan inclusive of the basic functionalities of the platform. This makes it ideal for freelance marketing teams and small startups who don’t have financial resources to purchase one as of the moment. As their  company grows, they may easily upgrade to any of the affordable paid plans that this vendor has to offer.

Overview of Wrike Benefits

There are plenty of benefits that Wrike Content Marketing Software has to offer. It makes brainstorming more productive, it streamlines content planning, simplifies editorial calendar plotting, and it also makes it easier to create buyer personas for content creation. To help you get a better grasp about how this platform can transform your content marketing efforts, take a look at some of its major advantages:

Simplified Content Planning

Finding out what type of content you should be publishing is easier when you know who is going to be reading it. With Wrike Content Marketing Software’s task management and list tool, you can create detailed buyer personas before planning your content. Just compile your different target demographics in one folder and jot down the qualities of each group as you go about your campaigns. This way, you record the behavior, common interests, preferences, and purchasing patterns of each group which makes it easier to develop targeted content later on.

More Efficient Brainstorming

If you’ve ever used a whiteboard for brainstorming, then you certainly know how difficult it can be to note everything down after the meeting is over. More often than not, with the amount of scribbles on the board, certain ideas get tossed out because they no longer make sense and some details also get left out. To make sure these don’t happen, Wrike Content Marketing Software can serve as an online, centralized jot pad where you and your team members can dump your ideas. This way, brainstorming is much easier and more organized.

No More Missed Deadlines

The only thing more crucial than the quality of your content is the timing of your publishing. Of course, you can easily plan when you should post your content, but how do you make sure that the creation process is right on track? After all, you are creating multi-faceted content that require the effort of multiple teams. To help you make sure that everyone is coordinating seamlessly, you can use Wrike’s Gantt chart to map out the tasks you need to do as well as when they need to be done. This way, you and your team can check whether or not they are on schedule.

Enterprises have unique needs and requirements and no software application can be perfect in such a situation. It is useless to try to find a perfect out-of-the-box software product that meets all your business requirements. The intelligent thing to do would be to modify the application for your special requirements, worker skill levels, budget, and other aspects. For these reasons, do not rush and invest in well-publicized trendy applications. Though these may be widely used, they may not be the perfect fit for your unique needs. Do your research, check out each short-listed platform in detail, read a few Wrike reviews, contact the seller for clarifications, and finally settle for the application that provides what you need.

Pros: There are lot of helpful features within Wrike starting from Gantt chart- that helps you with complex projects that require different tasks or phases in order to be completed, to Folders & Projects- Organization that helps you to manage projects from different angles like: customer-driven, sales-driven, marketing-driven and it allows you to manipulate and move projects into various folders. The Tasks feature allows you to assign the tasks to different people within the team. There is even an option for duplicating folders with their tasks

Cons: I’d like to create dependencies between projects. In addition, when I want to change a tasks’ deadline it automatically changes the subtasks’ deadline and whenever I want to push some things forward/backward with Gantt chart I need to go into each subtask to adjust them as well. Also, the duration can be complicated especially when we have several tasks and we are not sure about the actual time on a given day whether it is enough or not.

Pros: A very powerful project management tool with some good features

Cons: Be careful with Wrike - after being a customer for 2 years they massively increased our renewal price. It's now totally unaffordable and we're having to move to an alternative, which is especially annoying after the amount of time it took to train our staff in Wrike.
