PROS: Mulesoft Anypoint Studio offers seamless integration with APKit, CloudHub, and others. Very simple to use. Managing resources and project files are hassle-free. Everything is properly managed. The RAML is one of its standouts.

CONS: AnyPoint Studio is taking a long while to get started. It may entail the need for some enhanced or better hardware. Once things start, everything will be super fast. You need to be an expert in Java if you have every intention to write customize connectors.

PROS: Rooted from the Eclipse platform, it features a simple UI for a majority of today's Java developers. Its coding component with visual coupling lets you make tweaks. There's no need to make changes on the visual side. Although the visual side lets you include newer components without forcing to go on a code-dump.

CONS: There are a plethora of bugs in the latest build. For instance, one of them hinders Dataweave objects from showing within the visual aspect of IDE. This can be annoying. Other bugs are also noticeable with Dataweave.

PROS: This platform is simple to use within the development environment. Dataweave is where I get a majority of transformations done. It's helpful when running in debug mode and catering to loggers. Its got plenty of connections so connecting to anything is a breeze. It has helpful forum for solving any issues.

CONS: Some of connectors indicated are considered to be "premium." That means a separate license is needed to get them. Every project or application run independently.

PROS: Currently working as an integration specialist, I've dealt with a wide range of opensourced platforms as well as that of this product. One big reason why I'm still functioning with Mule is how consistent it is as world-class software. It meshes all features required in an integration layer.

CONS: I've always wanted to navigate to whereve this product takes me. But sadly, its Enterprise version and its B2B functionality isn't available unless you take a trial period and make the upgrade.

CONS: Anypoint studio only has a limited 1-month trial period. Constant updates could lead to certain components not functioning. Anpoint casues a severe slow down to IDE. A PC with high end specs and higher RAM should make things work smoothly.

PROS: The good thing with this tool is that has connectors to cater to most third party applications. It's integration with these applications are flawless. Since Mule operates on Maven and Spring, it makes it easy to understand the issue through debug logging in the event of any error. Support is available on their blogs for those struggling with technical aspects.

CONS: At this point. MuleSoft has done me a lot of great things. I could nitpick but the problem is, there's nothing to be picky about. This platform has done a lot of wonders for me so far.

CONS: There are some notable flaws observed. If you're working with mongodb connector, you can test out connections to a localhost. No credentials are needed. But when you try to execute flows, it'll say the at such fields are "mandatory." CONS: Documentation and marketing appears to push developers in making simple integrations natively. Then having them deployed straight to production. Ease of Use

Published on: 19.12.2017 Company Size: More than 100 Employees Industry: N/A

PROS: This IT management software is the next biggest thing in assisting developers to graphically create while having the option to make XML edits for customization purposes. The debugger is of big help most especially in the expression elevator.

CONS: With connectors and everything, I feel this tool has it. But the only critical part missing to carry out the best practice in connector use is documentation.

Ease of Use

PROS: It's easy to use and model. Creating even some of the most highly intricate flows and requirements are simple. Connectors are also available. Anypoint Studio enables us to concentrate on what's needed. It looks after everything regarding what's required.

CONS: There are some notable flaws observed. If you're working with mongodb connector, you can test out connections to a localhost. No credentials are needed. But when you try to execute flows, it'll say the at such fields are "mandatory." Also, examples of each connector should include a full working sample for the end user to get a grip on the connector quickly.
