Asset Panda Review

PROS: It's very easy to use and their support is fantastic! They also add new features regularly without increasing the price.

CONS: There are a few things like the timeout feature. I asked if it could be extended as I'm logged in all day and time out all the time requiring me to log back in often. Not terrible and I understand why but it would be something I would love to have some control over.

PROS: The ability tailer the data to your own liking. It has a pretty good range of flexibility.

CONS: Only 10 categories available limiting how flexible the customizable software can be. Not able to do conditional actions. Not able to mass change data that was entered incorrectly. Like If an action is performed on 100 assets by accident. The only way to resolve it is to go one by one deleting the action.

PROS: Ease of keeping track of inventory, location and to write the policy rules are easy! I love this tracking system!! Love the reports and the mobile app!You can customize it to the way you need it to work!

CONS: Sometimes it gets slow or glitches. Making a rule sometimes is difficult but support is great any time you call or chat them! I don't like when you use reallocate or bulk movement it doesn't follow through with my actions I made.

PROS: The one-on-one set up and customization. The customer service and tech support is fast and very helpful. I also like that there is a mobile app.

CONS: The mobile app - it's not very intuitive or user friendly. I feel that I have to show employees how to do things on the app multiple times. It doesn't flow as I think it should.

PROS: It is easy to learn and teach others how to use. I love the "Reports" function. You can customize reports in countless ways. I create some for accounting and some for production to show what is available and what is checked out on current projects.

CONS: I honestly have not had any issues or desired any improvements.

PROS: Easy to use, easy to customise. Love the app for the phones.

CONS: Inability to upload bulk item types and some other lists. Should be easy with a database.

PROS: Super simple to use. Love the import features for large data entry jobs, plus the mobile app is superb! Great features in the mobile app including barcode scanning capabilities.

CONS: The overall interface on the web could use some enhancement, but it's functional.

PROS: The mobile iOS app is the best thing about this software. Bar none. The web interface is fine, but the mobile application is great. Especially the barcode scanning. I wish I could say more positive things about this software (because it really could and should be great), but my experience has been completely soured.

CONS: The customer support is abysmal! First, when we purchased this software we were told multiple times that Active Directory sync (very important to us) was functioning on their end. The first 3 months we had this software this was completely nonfunctional and apparently the feature was in beta! We did not sign up to be beta testers. Asset Panda essentially lied to us to gain our business. Finally after months of going back and forth with updating sync clients and setting up remote sessions, AD sync worked! It worked flawlessly for about 5 months. A May 18th update from Asset Panda destroyed that and proceeded to duplicate our patrons 9 times each. It is now June 8th and it is still not resolved! We had not paid our renewal which was due yesterday because...well, how could we with these problems still rampant? Our Technology Director had the invoice, but wanted to see the problems resolved. They then locked our account ON the due date. Didn't even wait until closing hours. 7 AM...locked. I reached out yesterday to them since I had not heard from them in almost a week. Conveniently, the "fix" was uploaded last night but we can't see it because they have locked out our account since our account was due. Why should we pay to see IF you have fixed the problem? Completely unacceptable and unprofessional.
