Bugzilla Review

PROS: This tool is simple in terms of setting it up and getting it ready to start tracking bugs. Being an open source program makes it even more better. I love how it's able to summarize everything about open and closed bugs. It sends e-mail notifications to individuals involved in development.

CONS: It takes a bit of time to make e-mail configurations, which can make it a problem for a new system. It should have some sort of instructions to make setup a lot easier to do.

PROS: I love how its UI is laid out in a simple manner with very little distractions. Its entry fields are clear enough to see and it integrates wonderfully with Chrome.

CONS: At times, I don't like how bugs end up being doubled filed or "error out." This is a hassle since I often have to back track and correct it.

PROS: I love how Bugzilla lays out its advanced search filters. The customization option of changing columns makes it easy for us to export columns in a csv format. It also gives us time to add additional details that can be included while filling bugs so it can easily be customized for every requirement.

CONS: I'd love it if Bugzilla gets a major upgrade to turn it into a project management tool. It would be nice if there's a possibility for us to add comments and a simultaneous attachment. It may not be user friendly but we hope that'll change in the future.

PROS: A tool that's very useful in all aspects. Tracking bugs has never been this easy. It can be installed within the network so it can be used by you and your team offline. Its e-mail notification keeps you updated if new bugs are present. And it's super fast.

CONS: Some of the things I don't favor with this tool is that it becomes a bit challenging to make configurations and challenging to handle it on initial use. It has an old interface that badly needs an improved look. It also won't let you communicate with your bugs via e-mail.

PROS: Bugzilla contains a plethora of features and can be configured for use in a number of ways. It's a fast tool the leaves very little server footprint. It offers excellent reporting, follow-ups, and searching functionality. Bugzilla is ideal tool for those operating on a budget.

CONS: It appears to be a bit overwhelming. The learning curve is a lot steeper compared to other bug trackers in the market. Serching for bugs take awhile since there are plenty of fields available.

PROS: What I really the most with Bugzilla is how you can keep things organized. Assigning bugs can be done on the fly so each team member can fix and monitor the status of each single issue.

CONS: There have been issues where the UI can be difficult to navigate. There have been instances where I gave up looking for something. Also, the UI is way too bland.

PROS: With this tool, I'm able to get thet most out of my software development and other projects. With little effort, I gave out roles, create e-mail notifications, and set up workflow for bug reports on my projects.

CONS: The UI needs to appear more current and innovative. Their online themes aren't that good to look at. But then again, looks isn't what this product is about for such a powerful tool.

PROS: I love how this tool is simple to deal with on the first go. Not only that, but Bugzilla gave me complete control on the lifecycle of each bug.

CONS: This tool needs more improvement on the description requirements (either in terms of function or business) as well as being able to integrate with other known IT platforms and tools.

PROS: Bugzilla is an open-sorced tool for tracking bugs. It gives developers a chance to monitor major issues with their product. The tool can also be deployed for test management since it can directly be linked to quality center and others.

CONS: Bugzilla is a good tool but it needs further flexibility when it comes down to customizing fields. In addition, their UI needs some serious makeover.

PROS: Bugzilla has a lot of things in store. It has plenty of features capable of tracking issues. What's more it's a tool that's quick to set up and immediately use.

CONS: There's nothing much to not like about this tool since its works incredibly well. There are a number of issue that trackers have in terms of the features they bring. In the end, it all boils down to you the workflow of your team.
