To track materials, tools, and equipment; BuildSourced is using scanning of QR codes. Metal QR code tags are attached to equipment and tools and just by using a mobile device, they can be scanned to transmit information such as the exact location, user, time, and service notes to the office or the field staff. When a scan is made, the system would automatically logs the geographical coordinates(latitude/longitude) and timestamp of the scan.
