Caspio Review

PROS: With Caspio, it is easier than ever to copy data from Spreadsheet to the app’s database. And from there, you can set up search forms, so you can easily find the data you entered.

CONS: Users have to switch to the paid versions when they exceed the set limit on the free version.

PROS: Caspio is easy to use, and it’s intuitive. It helps us easily finish web forms for quick job completion.

CONS: Caspio doesn’t have the feature that can be used to edit each form link. Instead, it only notifies those who are accountable for publishing the links.

PROS: Caspio is an easy-to-use application builder that doesn’t require coding. It is robust and helpful in streamlining the business process.

CONS: Since this is an app builder, users still need to have some technical background about the platform of this kind, even if there’s no coding required. One should spend time to understand how it works.

PROS: The platform’s interface is intuitive—and I love the experience using it. It comes with functionalities that allow data field matching, color coordinating, etc. These capabilities ensure that our database matches with one dashboard.

CONS: I encountered issues in aligning data fields before, but thanks to its responsive customer support for fixing the problems quickly.

PROS: I’m using Caspio for more than 4 years, and I have to say that I’m using all its applications and concepts. Its team work on improving the software and implementing even more features and concepts. It has simple learning curve. The other good thing is that you don’t have to be programmer in order to create forms on this software or to use it. I am able to create web app within hours.

CONS: I don’t like the authentication process, because if the user is not an admin there are additional sets required.

PROS: With Caspio I can easily and quickly create custom forms that look complex and link several forms in specific way. I am able to do all of these things without hiring programmer. I am able to create backend forms so I can manage the data I have collected. I cannot even imagine my work without this software. It helps me to do my work in a few minutes instead of few weeks.

CONS: It can be buggy sometimes. Whenever I run into bugs I report it immediately, they have fixed several ones. Also, I would like more options on the forms, for e.g. I would lie to make “Other” filed and to make it appear only if this option is selected. Also, when users uploads are cleared and they get error on form submission they don’t know that they need to re-attach their files.

PROS: Things seem easy to begin with. A basic database can be done through the use of simplified search functions. It's also providing a lot more custom options. That is, if you're brave enough to get into the deep end.

CONS: Once you're capable of going past the basic setup process, the learning curve became a lot simpler to deal with. If I ended up not working on another person's template, I'd struggle deploying advanced functionality. The process involved lots of trial-and-error.

PROS: Caspio is armed with fantastic customer support. Waiting times are very minimal. They're available most times. Caspio releases new bits of their software every few months that brings new ways in utilizing software and speeding up the time of creation.

CONS: Right about now, I've been making use of Caspio the past several months. So far, there's not much to complain about. Some of their functionality are released a wee bit too early. That downside of that is that the stuff that comes out ended up not being thought through and through.

PROS: I'm able to deploy Caspio within my agency a few years back. It was there to cater to simple need. Ever since I started using it, the platform evolved to around 20 or so apps. Additional concepts are now in the process of approval. One biggest thing with Caspio is its minimal learning curve.

CONS: The biggest downside is its authentication piece. If it so happens the user isn't an admin for a particular instance, they'd have to go through additional steps just to log in.

PROS: First of all, I love Caspio’ customer support team, they are always quick and responsive. The always implement new updates. It provides new ways of using the software and to speed up the creation time. It offers various levels of security to purchase and it depends on your business type so it has different price options so it can meet all your needs.

CONS: I don’t have dislikes about this software. It would be great if they could release new features early instead of going through thought process.

PROS: I like how I'm able to come up with custom and complex forms. The fact that I can do this quickly is a bonus. I get to tie them together in a number of unique ways. I get to do all that without a computer programmer helping me out.

CONS: Some small bugs were found in the latest version. They ended up ruining the dropdown menus on my WP site. Caspio was able to fix the first one after reporting it. Just recently, I noticed the same problem.
