CMiC is a construction project management and financials software designed for general and specialty contractors, heavy/highway contractors, and project owners; that aims to improve ROI by providing multiple levels of financial analytics and streamlining key aspects of project lifecycle such as procurement, bidding, and revenue and budget management.
As a construction software that can be deployed in public cloud, private cloud, and on-premise, CMiC provides four modules with each module offering sets of features. These modules are financials, project controls, asset management, and experience management. PROS: CMiC has all construction accounting features that we need. It lets us encode the data that we have and highlights errors when there are.
CONS: There were times when I input data and it wasn’t saved upon refreshing the page so I had to repeat the process of encoding.

CONS: I encountered some issues in uploading some files. It can take a while for the pages to load and the update time is longer than ideal.

PROS: I use this for communicating with architects and other stakeholders. It makes the information trail about the project clear. The documents and exchanges about the project are also easily accessible through this platform.
CONS: We have been encountering issues with regard to uploading specific documents to the system. We used to not have this problem and hope that it will be resolved soon.
