ConceptDraw MINDMAP Review

PROS: I find it easier to discuss project status and share ideas with our project team when there's a visual representation and this tool helps me create them with ease.

CONS: I find the integration with other applications such as exporting to PowerPoint a little cumbersome. But some copy and paste can do the work too.

PROS: ConceptDraw MINDMAP is a well-structured and user-friendly software. It offers a wide array of tools for creating designs. Images are great additional elements. We are able to produce excellent designs using this software.

CONS: We think the user interface could be improved in order to appear less CAD-like and more visually-appealing to its adult users.

PROS: This software works well with MS office applications like PowerPoint and Word so if you are using those tools you can integrate them with this solution with ease. But if you don't, there's no need to sweat. You can create your own visuals or presentations from inside this Mindmap.

CONS: There are constraints in the bubble formatting; would be nice if it would be improved. Other than that, this tool is generally efficient and helpful.

PROS: Among a dozen mindmapping software I have used and tested, only ConceptDraw actually provided me with everything I am looking for a mindmapping tool including quality. I have already used several versions of it and not even one fall short of expectation. ConceptDraw Mindmap is generally good and lets you do a plethora of things but if you want to get more out of it, I suggest trying the integration with CD or CD project. It's relational, theming, as well as arranging tools are pretty intuitive and very easy to use. It also offers a lot of free, useful additions.

CONS: I generally had a great experience using the CD universe but I find it quite costly compared to other solutions in same category. You can even find decent solutions now for free. Apart from the price, I also had issue using the Outline view. I cannot change the font as well as font size to the one I prefer. So I ALWAYS have to manually reset the font for every new work, which is quite tedious. Not a deal breaker, though.

PROS: - many templates - good for presentation of ideas - integration with rest of ConceptDraw applications

CONS: I never had any problems.

PROS: Never had any difficulty finding my way around this platform. It is pretty simple to use and is nicely designed. Good tool for organizing ideas and collaborating with other users.

CONS: Sometimes, the app crashes whenever I use some of its features.

PROS: I love the overall features and design of the software. For example the brainstorm mode lets you record all of the ideas you can come up with for a certain period of time. Next these ideas can be ordered according a certain style. This really works well. Furthermore, the styles included are very cool. In addition, the styles can be customised. Lastly, I really like the integration with Microsoft Office, Evernote and Conceptdraw Project. My input in the Mindmap can be easily converted to the other platforms. Think of presentations in powerpoint or GANTT-charts in Conceptdraw Project. This saves a lot of time makes it very efficient to use.

CONS: To be honest, I never had any problems. To me it's the best Mindmap software I've used thus far.

PROS: There are many template to present the ideas. That helps me to always choose the most fit ones to present to different department from engineers to marketings.

CONS: to custom edit the text/font etc for each block
