What is CYMA?

CYMA is a system that offers a solid thirty year-experience producing Windows-based accounting software sold by modules. It is geared towards CPA and companies with complex accounting needs, such as mid-sized businesses, non-profits, and CPA firms.

Typical modules used by clients include: accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation, billing, general ledger, inventory control, job costing, payroll, purchase order, human resources, and sales order. Non-profits also benefit from a Gantt tracking module. On the other hand, project-based businesses can use its project-tracking module. All modules are accessible via the control center.

CYMA does not offer a mobile platform or integration for credit card payments and document management, but it provides third-party integrations, such as: time-tracking software, backup services, direct deposit services, Point-of-Care solutions, donation tracking tools, POS software and shipping software. In can also import common financial file types, print checks, manage electronic payments, and prepare bank deposits.

Complete standard accounting

CYMA’s general ledger solution supports both an Original and a Revised Budget for each GL account, all of which can be drilled down to the transaction level. Advanced budgeting allows for an audited, transactional method of budget revisions. General ledger transactions (e.g. journal entries, electronic payments, receipts, disbursements) can be imported from an external source, and CYMA facilitates after-the-fact mass entry of transactions. Over 50 standard general ledger and financial statement reports available. The accounts receivable and accounts receivable modules are equally robust.

Extensive suite of Human Resources and Payroll

This module can administer benefits and manage benefits cost; manage an unlimited number of positions including pay levels; track injuries and illnesses; track applicants and applications; and create a robust HR database that can track pay history, raises, and reviews.

Similarly, the payroll feature can manage an unlimited number of pay levels, deductions, commissions, and taxes for each employee with rules specific for each state, territory or area. Automated computations and filing of forms as well as direct deposits are also possible.

Comprehensive Inventory and Services Management

Inventory transactions are integrated with the rest of your accounting system, such as real-time posting to general ledger, and integration of the inventory with sales and purchase orders, and accounts payable and receivable.

Comprehensive management and trend analysis reports are also available, as are advanced features like multiple bin tracking, build and assembly costing, and automatic reordering for replenishment of stocks.

Reliable Integration and Productivity

CYMA integrates with almost any third-party product or software solution including time clocks, barcode scanners, time and attendance, shipping, fixed assets, and more. An unlimited number of custom fields can be added and tracked in many of the entry screens. Customizable HTML-based eDesk can also be easily customized to run frequently used menu items and reports from a mouse click or to host a corporate intranet. To further complement the program, CYMA FMS utilizes the industry standard reporting tools Crystal Reports, F9 Financial Report Writer, and BizNet.

Sophisticated Banking features

The CYMA has a bank reconciliation system that simplifies the task of reconciling company bank accounts by providing an easy to use, yet sophisticated set of tools to review and adjust all transactions affecting bank accounts.
