EHS Insight Review

PROS: I was fascinated with the interface of EHS insight the first time that I saw it. The features are straightforward to learn and understand. It didn't require many hours to learn how to configure the entire system to tailor fit the modules to meet and exceed the business's needs. We are lucky to be using the system to handle complaints and make sure they are handled properly.

CONS: One of the things that I think needs to be addressed is the application we use for auditing purposes. It works slow, and the information that we collect is lacking most of the time. So we end up making callbacks to the person who initiated the audit to verify some things that we needed to reconcile matters. Next is that the reports section needs many enhancements to pull out stats anytime we needed to analyze our running stats. Also, I wish that EHS insight would be more proactive in sending us notifications whenever we schedule our staff to train on certain days.

PROS: Makes sure that all assets and equipment used in production are in excellent condition and in compliance with safety standards.

CONS: Some testing protocols take some time to finish, but it's all worth the process at the end of the day.

PROS: Whenever we see something wrong with the company's current situation, we encourage employees to report it to us in real-time. So far, we have been getting a moderate amount of complaints about workplace safety protocols, and EHS insight makes it easier for us to address these issues.

CONS: I have to admit that we are all still challenged when pulling out the app reports. The same thing goes with getting accurate information from people who launched tickets to report an incident.

PROS: One of the top reasons we as a group decided to push through with EHS insight after the trial period is that we got many positive responses from our staff, who tried it for fifteen days straight. One of their most popular comments is that they like how easy it is to adapt to the platform's functionality. It means that even if you lack experience with computers and programs, it would still be easy for you to figure out how to utilize EHS for your daily work issues. I am one of the main admins of the platform. This gives me the capability to assign credentials and restrictions to each user depending on their role and function in the organization. This helps us streamline the process of handling complaints, which gives proper structure to each concerned department. If we keep seeing the same mistakes or errors from a specific group or employee, we automatically send them learning materials and schedule them for training. Doing this would build the knowledge and confidence of the employees, thus raising morale in the workplace. We also do random checks to ensure that people implement what they've learned from their classes and ensure that we will pass ISO certification with flying colors.

CONS: We owe a lot to this program in helping us pass and achieve our ISO certification goals, which is a huge deal for most corporations nowadays. Although EHS insight is a fantastic platform for handling audits and complex issue resolution, I must say that it's still a little bit rough in the edges meaning that a lot of work needs to be done to become a perfect platform. I want to share several of the feedback that I've gathered from my team. Hopefully, they would take our suggestions or opinions into consideration soon. One of the first observed things is the lack of ability to customize the user interface to make it comfortable for all end users. Admittedly we don't use all of its features that often, so we would like to make changes to the UI's appearance to what suits us best. Second would be its inability to integrate or connect with some of our existing tools to integrate essential workflows into our system. Whenever we have issues with this matter, our staff is not that well trained to troubleshoot the platform, so we have to call the company support hotline for further assistance. Since the tool comes with pre-made modules that help us in terms of knowledge building, I would like to introduce the culture of continuous learning across all departments by creating sets of tests and quizzes to be answered each week to test the level of knowledge of all employees in terms of process and policies. However, I am always challenged when it comes to uploading the tests because I've seen a couple of error messages on the screen. I have raised some of these concerns a few times already over one year. I am crossing my fingers that the management team of EHS Insight would hear us out. We are diligently paying for their services, and we deserve to maximize the platform in any way that we can.

PROS: We never felt uneasy with the application, even when it was first introduced to us. I like the user interface, which is easy to figure out. Even first-timers had no difficulties adjusting to this platform.

CONS: Some existing features need a lot of improvement so we could maximize it for our own good.

PROS: We can request and do audits using any gadgets on hand. That's how convenient it is to use the app.

CONS: I wish to get a more upgraded version of the dashboard because some of the metrics are not accurate.

PROS: It's easier to collect all the information you need to resolve multiple issues that affect work quality, process management, and safety.

CONS: Some reports are not accurate, so we are forced to use a different method to extract the information we need.

PROS: One of the best things that we all like about this application is the ease of use to all staff members. Whether you are one of the moderators or a regular user, it doesn't take so much time to figure out how each feature works. Also, I would like to mention that the user interface looks really attractive. You would enjoy using the platform either for reporting incidents, enhancing knowledge, and other topics that will improve the way we do our business. I would also like to extend my appreciation to the company who helped develop the product for being consistent in terms of providing quality service to all their clients. They made sure that our concerns are addressed at the soonest time possible to continue doing our work.

CONS: I want to point out some things that they could enhance to make the user experience more enjoyable from a user's perspective. As one of the moderators, I have observed that some processes aren't explained well enough, so there are times that I'm taken by surprise while I'm in the middle of doing something. It lacks customization, but I can live with it.
