eZ Review

PROS: I love how flexible this platform is. It gives editors the chance to work and structure content while allowing developers to carry out highly complex solutions. Content is housed in such a way it can be re-used for varying content channels. Aside from its CMS functionality, it comes with a potent search engine that runs on search queries.

CONS: The task is never an easy one for new developers to figure out ways in developing eZ Publish apps. Users beware, the learning can be a bit high for some.

PROS: It makes everything so much easier and fun with this platform. Its best features works very well as expected. Some even stand out compared to other platforms on its class.

CONS: There have been instances where its framework and features can be a bit difficult to understand. The learnng curve is bit steep but once you get used to it, you'll stand pat.

PROS: This platform is definitely extendable. It can easily program and make in-house modifications. It has the capacity to conduct complicated set-ups and do unlimited permission possibilities.

CONS: The system's complexity can both be a good and a bad thing. It's user-friendly for any user who deciding to input page content. But it's never user-friendly in the management and set-up of sites, extensions, section, and permissions.

PROS: I love how it's flexible and scalable. Its security and performance is top notch. It's relatively simple to use and maintain. It's an ideal product to use on any great web project. You can carry out the API for mobile app use.

CONS: There's really nothing irrelevant with this product. My only gripe is the lack of communication with technical support when it comes to addressing the upgrade needs of my customers. Right now, information on that issue is nowhere to be found on the website.

PROS: I've been dealing with this platform closely since it was on v3. The need to use it was helpful in creating complex solutions in swift manner. It's quick to deploy if you have a clear idea on its mechanics. The platform is beyond just a CMS. It has a strong framework that opens possibilities for any devloper carry out tasks. It's a lot more powerful with Symfony2.

CONS: The present database model can lead to poor site performance. I do hope this platfom will switch it to eZ Publish 6. Furthermore, it's never an easy task to learn from eZ Publish. Developers starting out with this platform will need to adapt to changes in order to have a concise idea on formulating solutions.

PROS: I love its code qualiy, user roles, policies management, and content version management. I like how it's possible for you to make customized content classes in a simple manner. Other features worth nothing are its site access system, localization/internationalization, and multi-language support.

CONS: I'm unable to utlize a pure eZ publish 5 stack since it's lacking a number of legacy features. Its learning curve is steep and lot worse with the current version. Technical support could use some improvement.

PROS: Plenty of things to love wiht eZ. I love how this platform is created on top of today's leading technologies. For instance, it's built Twig and Symfony2.

CONS: Learning how to get started and being familiarizing with the system isn't something of an easy task. But once you pick up the slack and begin understanding its mechanisms and functionality, you'll never have to turn anywhere else.

PROS: I love this product for its flexible content structure. I'm thrilled it came with support for multiple websites and languages. Best of all, it's customizable.

CONS: It has a very powerful CMS with plenty of ready-to-use features. At the same time, it's very complex. It'll take a bit of time and stuff to familiarize before finally liking the product.

PROS: eZ has done a number of things for me. Some of the notable features I favour with the platform is how it displays content as well as the API.

CONS: Right now, I'm a bit icky with its documentation. I just wish they could get rid of that since it's something that I don't want in particular.
