Customer should look for listings where the “request to book” button is available. This button indicates that a listing is ready for booking. For such listing, a booking confirmation is sent within 24 hours.
In addition, listings should also have a credit card logo, as this means that the property owner is accepting credit card payments using the HomeAway checkout process. However, if a listing doesn’t show a credit card logo, customers should at least be able to find a “birdhouse shield” icon on the listing page. This icon shows that the property owner is using an approved payment method.
HomeAway also offers a dashboard which has the capability to generate listing performance data and insights. This dashboard has an analytics page, where property owners and managers will be able to track the performance of their listings.
