Invoice Ninja Review

PROS: No invoicing solution has fit my business demands like how Invoice Ninja do. Yes, the free and commercial variations were insufficient, but the open-source version is terrific! I used the C-Panel to set it up in shared hosting, and it is convenient to use and personalize according to my needs. This small tool handles invoicing, quotations, project tracking, inventory and payment among other tasks without problems. It incorporates smoothly with Zapier too, which is great for boosting many of our business tasks.

CONS: Setting up it manually in a server is quite difficult even if I’m a tech savvy person. I need to resort using the C-Panel for it. And such process should be improved for the benefit of average people using Invoice Ninja for their business. Other than this, Invoice Ninja perfectly works well through operations.

PROS: It has a very smooth UI that hasn’t give me any difficulties. It has greatly improved my workflow as well, which helps me save time managing invoices. It makes preparing invoices easier, since you can easily make, edit and send them. Managing payments and receipts is easier too.

CONS: I am only working alone for my business; thus, I don’t use many of the features in Invoice Ninja. And I haven’t found any problem while using it on the job.

PROS: It is a great support for different invoice related tasks such as project tracking, time monitoring and payments. Of course, it helps in generating and sending invoices seamlessly, as well as it accepts payments through different options. Moreover, it is equipped with plenty of automation options that help in boosting the workflow, especially when used along with other dependable apps. This is truly perfect for small business since it automates tons of tasks.

CONS: The Kanban board looks dull and boring. I hope it would receive some new looks on later updates. I can’t point any other disadvantage with the software.

PROS: This affordable platform offers everything I need for certain tasks, its automation is amazing, and it is very smooth to use. Invoice Ninja supports online payment and digital signing of contract, which is very convenient for us and the customers. It comes with reliable user support too. Moreover, I haven’t noticed any errors while using the platform.

CONS: We’ve had some difficulties while preparing personalized invoice template. Although, we have eventually made one that fits our preference.

PROS: Invoice Ninja has been helping us for a long time. And I can say that this platform is really terrific. Easy to personalize and use for our needs. Plus, the user support team responds quickly to our concerns all the time.

CONS: With around a year of using this platform, I haven’t stumbled upon any bugs or errors on any of its features. This is perfect for our business.

PROS: Invoicing is a lot smoother with Invoice Ninja. It helps me prepare invoices, set payments and let clients view their bills through a convenient dashboard. Tweaking the invoices when needed is easy as well. Then, clients can fully or partially pay their bills with no hassles. Moreover, online payment is supported on this platform.

CONS: Running the system on the cloud causes some errors such as sending duplicate invoices. It doesn’t allow paying several invoices in one as well. It is a good thing, however, that Invoice Ninja receives frequent useful updates.

PROS: Starting with the software is hassle-free, since it is easy to install and it lets me begin in no time. It has dozens of useful options for a myriad of different tasks too. I don’t use much of those, but I’m sure they’d largely help me later on. Its price is also unbelievably affordable.

CONS: The software functions great and smooth for me. But some graphical designs do not fit my taste. I’d change them if I could.

PROS: This is a fantastic but free and easy to use online invoicing platform. This lets me easily prepare invoice and send them to certain clients. They can pay through convenient online means too.

CONS: The free version isn’t enough for our needs; thus, we opted for the paid version for a better platform. The problem is, it is still not that powerful compared to other popular choices.

PROS: It receives terrific and useful updates now and then. I only need to wait for up to a couple of months or less.

CONS: The interface is efficient and highly automated. That’s a very big plus factor. However, it has poor graphic designs that should be improved.

PROS: Invoice Ninja offers complete control over invoicing, such as letting me tweak or personalize invoices depending on my needs. Billing processes has useful and efficient options, and the platform allows the reuse of invoices with automatic payment features. It also supports the use of different payment modes such as automated clearing house (ACH), credit cards and check, so clients can choose what’s convenient for them. Moreover, it lets me impose discounts when they use ACH because of lesser rates.

CONS: It is quite difficult to learn from the start especially that I’m using it for my business. CSS is necessary for tweaking client’s dashboard, and you should use PDFmake and JSON for personalizing the invoices. Thankfully, software as a service support is available to make setting up easy. Invoice templates are available too.

PROS: Invoice Ninja is a complete invoicing app with tons of useful features through its modules. It has useful modules that are easy to activate or deactivate, such as those for invoicing, CRM, inventory, time and project monitoring, scheduling, proposal, generating reports, as well as for reporting among other use. It also allows managing of invoice through the leading online payment platforms such as PayPal, as well as it lets us fully personalize each invoice such as using company logo and themes. Moreover, it has a frontend dashboard where clients can sign-in, check status of projects, view invoices, send payments, or to make important statements.

CONS: Invoice Ninja doesn’t feature a dependable helpdesk or ticketing system. It also has insufficient documentations for further development. Meaning, it is quite difficult to develop a new module for the platform.

PROS: A lot of administrative tasks have become easier through this platform, such as quotations, invoices and operational costs among others. Plus, I can self-host all of those seamlessly. This means running its setup through my server. This lets me create more personalized email, invoice and quotation templates that suits the business.

CONS: Updating the self-hosted setup of Invoice Ninja is quite problematic. Making the process more efficient would be a great improvement.
