Jamf Pro Review

PROS: This is an easy and secure way to deploy, manage, and upgrade hundred of devices. The success rate for deployment is pretty high for the first 24 hours. Enforcing certificate requirements on our VPN app is seamless. The interface/dashboard is pretty organized so the overall user experience is pretty good.

CONS: It's a bit complicated for me to learn at first, and finding solutions wasn't that easy as well. Thanks to the support staff who are helpful and accommodating.

PROS: Jamf Pro is probably the best MDM software in the market today. It allowed me to seamlessly manage thousands of Macs by myself. Its integration with other apps and tools also blows my mind!

CONS: I hope site admins will be allowed to have more control over the various functions of the app.

PROS: Jamf Pro is an invaluable MDM solution! It's exactly what we needed in distributing devices to various groups of users who are all working remotely. Its integration with Apple School Manager is really helpful.

CONS: I wish they could connect users directly to the tech support staff who can address our particular issues. Right now, we have to talk to several staff first before reaching the engineer who will handle our issue.

PROS: Thanks to Jamf Pro, we were able to find a simple way to manage our fleet of macs most conveniently. It has advanced computer search feature, smart groups... basically, the best MDM out there.

CONS: We used to follow a specific order in installing applications, but since Jamf Pro sort packages alphabetically, we have to adjust.

PROS: I love Jamf Pro because it's really helpful to our school while doing remote learning. The self-service feature allows users to resolve issues, manage, and update softwares in each device.

CONS: I hope they would allow native integration with Jamf Connect.

PROS: Pushing out policies and creating profiles can be done remotely and conveniently now. Deployment of devices is made easy.

CONS: I find it hard to deploy printers and repackage applications. Students don't have admin rights to Jamf so it's hard for them install printers. I also find the app a bit pricey.

PROS: We find it essential when we have around 500 iMacs to manage! Everything is amazing -- from the deployment of software to the enrollment of clients.

CONS: I wish it would soon be able to support Arcsight. We need it for our log management.

PROS: Three things: (1) its integration with necessary programs; (2) its frequent upgrades; and (3) its reliable support team!

CONS: There are some missing features like version control for Scripts.

PROS: It can transform iPads into a perfect teaching aid once it integrate with Apple Classroom. Applying the same configuration to hundreds of iPads is never a problem.

CONS: This app updates regularly and every update responds to our needs so I don't have any issues with it. It's perfect.

PROS: It saved us a lot of time in deploying apps, generating reports, building profiles, or running scripts. Thanks to the automated processes! I no longer have to do things manually which helped us be more efficient at work. They also provide training resources for users which is beneficial for us.

CONS: I don't like its patch management functions right now. I hope they would improve it by having more integrations.

PROS: Managing thousands of mobile devices is no longer a problem for our small IT team!

CONS: I have no issues with Jamf! Great app!

PROS: The whole Jamf package has been really helpful to me in my work. I had no idea how useful it is at first, but despite not having a formal training about it, I was able to learn and put it to use. All our issues with device management were quickly resolved. Everything is running so smoothly for apple users!

CONS: The configuration profiles is kind of hard to figure out. I'm also having issues with renewing our SCEP policy and I can't figure out if it's an app issue or something is wrong somewhere else.

PROS: I love how robust and up-to-date this software is! Even before Apple release new upgrades, Jamf Pro has already updated its program to fit the Apple upgrade. They also have an amazing team of tech support. Always a pleasure to work with them.

CONS: I don't have any issue with this software.

PROS: I love Jamf Pro because of its capabilities like self-deployment and no-touch setup and management of mobile devices and macs.

CONS: Some of its components are a bit technical for non-ITs.

PROS: Cool GUI, user-friendly, and super functional! This is the best MDM software for Apple products in the market. Its integration with other softwares and its automated system has been a great advantage for us. They also have a reliable suppor team.

CONS: They could make the user interface more appealing by making the elements more organized.

PROS: Jamf Pro is a flexible software that allows users to customize it based on the needs of their organization. It's an all-in-one solution for conveniently managing Macs and other iOS devices.

CONS: Some things needs to be improved in my opinion. This includes its reporting feature and printer management so we don't have to use external software anymore to supplement these services. Jamf Pro is a bit pricey as well.

PROS: Most of the devices we use in our healthy system is on Windows OS, so it's a bit of a hassle to manage the few iOS devices that we have. Thanks to Jamf, it took off the load! And it's even better than the software that we're using for our Windows devices.

CONS: I don't have a negative experience with Jamf yet, but since only a few people know how to use this software, I had a hard time looking for someone who do.

PROS: Among the MDMs that I previously used, Jamf Pro is the best. It's better than the rest when it comes to its user interface and functionality. Their tech support team is also reliable and always ready to help.

CONS: Creating and configuring policies is not that intuitive. It doesn't have a back button and it just keeps on refreshing. It runs a bit slow sometimes, as well.

PROS: This is definitely the best MDM software for the iOS ecosystem! It has really good integrations with other apps. It can do a lot of stuff actually, and you'll learn more about it if you engage in their very active Jamp Nation community.

CONS: They could improve on the profile configuration and simplify it. The way it is now is a bit complicated and laborious for users.
