PROS: The interface is simple and self-explanatory. From the on-set, you can already see the main categories: sell, make, buy, stock, items, contacts, and settings. You can also keep track of the status of your order as it is color-coded. Assigning tasks to other co-workers is also smoother as you can see which tasks are assigned to whom.
CONS: The price is quite high, especially for small companies. I hope they can offer a lower rate for us.

PROS: Katana MRP has everything you need. You can really plan your company flows from tracking raw materials to keeping inventories of your products. It is also very easy to use so you won't have any problems.

PROS: It is nice how we can use resources to assign specific tasks to our team. This makes our manufacturing process easier as confusion is avoided. We were also able to compare the cost per minute and the cost per piece for assembly. This allowed us to analyze our payment procedures and gave us a more accurate data on how much we should pay our employees.
CONS: I am very pleased with the developers of Katana. Since I've started using Katana in January 2019, they have rolled out many updates that came from the suggestions of their clients. If I were to see other improvements it would be the following: (1) Allow printing and exporting of MOS. We want to push this so we don't have to use excel anymore. We want to have all our tasks accomplished using Katana. (2) The ability to change all time allotment at once. Right now, we have to individually change the time allotment per item. This takes quite a bit of our time so it will be greatly appreciated if they can make updates regarding this. (3) Have more status options for items on hold. Currently, those items are only categorized as blocked. This is inconvenient for us as we want to be able to accurately track these items.

PROS: It is the best system we could ever find. It offers everything we need for our business from order entry and inventory to purchasing and production. Its customer service is also good. Every time we are in need of help, it is ready to accommodate us.
CONS: Whenever my order information changes in Shopify, Katana does not automatically change it. There was an instance when a client changed her order and although it reflects in Shopify, it did not change in Katana.

PROS: Everything a small business would need, Katana MRP can cover. It is very easy to use and follows a great flow. To make things better, its support team is also a great help. They never failed to give us valuable knowledge about the system and helps us with our problems. We also noticed how the team listens to its clients. We've seen Katana give out updates that helped us run our business. It is also very affordable.
CONS: We hope that it can allow making purchases changes in the inventory asset account. This way it reflects the changes we make in Quickbooks. If they were to do this, Katana will be close to perfect.

PROS: As we run over 2500 SKU's, it can be quite messy to keep track of everything. Katana kept it all organized for us. Its ease of use is a great help as almost anyone can learn to use it. It also has great customer service. They are awesome and wonderful in answering our inquiries.
CONS: Adding SKU's can take quite some time. It often takes a minute or three for the page to save. This takes away precious time for us. It also has a few missing essentials in manufacturing like that of item location, scanner ability, and the ability to create a pick-list for all manufacturing orders and individual orders. There are also times when our inventory is not as accurate as we would have liked as Katana automatically allocates inventory when an order comes in. We also can't customize the way in which users view our inventory. We would have wanted to restrict some sections for certain users. It also becomes slower whenever a bulk of orders come in. This causes a lag in our work efficiency.
