LastPass is a cloud-based password manager tool for personal and business use. It is a straightforward solution that is equipped with all the necessary features for managing and protecting your passwords, and it executes all these functions well. You only have to remember your single master password to secure the vault which a database that stores all your passwords and information for multiple devices and platforms.
The system stores your website login information, address information, credit card details, and Wi-Fi passwords which you can sync with all your devices. Your data is secured with fingerprint login, mobile pin app unlock, and two-factor authentication. On top of that, LastPass has an intuitive and user-friendly interface that works well with various browsers and devices.
Show MoreThe security of your online accounts is crucial for protecting your privacy in all aspects. Passwords serve as the protection of your data’s confidentiality so it must be unique and available only to you. LastPass lets you manage all your passwords for multiple websites. You only have to remember your master password. This helps you avoid repeating your password across different platforms or making it easy to guess. You may also generate a long, randomized password on the system for an additional security against hacking.
Its handy automatic form-fill feature fills in any website’s form fields with your details such as name, address, credit card number, and more to save your time. The system also remembers your login details to various websites, which you have to set up, so you will no longer have to type your information again and again while ensuring your info is secured. You can even easily use LastPass in any web browser and smartphone.
The most important feature of any password manager is security. LastPass implements a strong encryption algorithm. All your data stored in the vault is kept a secret even from the software. The authorization access to your account is also tight with an optional two-factor authentication which means you may opt for a second login before you can enter your vault.
Show MoreBecause companies have distinctive business needs, it is prudent they steer clear of paying for a one-size-fits-all, “perfect” business program. Needless to say, it would be almost impossible to try to stumble on such a software system even among recognizable software systems. The correct thing to do can be to narrow down the different chief factors that need research including key features, pricing, skill competence of the users, business size, etc. Then, you should conduct your research fully. Browse over these LastPass review articles and look into each of the software products in your shortlist in detail. Such all-encompassing product investigation can make sure you keep away from unfit apps and subscribe to the system that offers all the function your company requires for success.
Position of LastPass in our main categories:
LastPass is one of the top 100 IT Management Software products
It is crucial to realize that hardly any app in the IT Security Software category is an ideal solution that can fulfill all the requirements of all company types, sizes and industries. It may be a good idea to read a few LastPass IT Security Software reviews first as some solutions can perform well exclusively in a very narrow group of applications or be created with a really specific industry in mind. Others might operate with an idea of being simple and intuitive and as a result lack complex features needed by more experienced users. You can also come across services that cater to a wide group of customers and offer a rich feature base, but this in most cases comes at a more expensive cost of such a service. Ensure you're aware of your needs so that you select a software that offers exactly the elements you search for.

PROS: A password manager tool is very important. I like that those days when sharing pass were stored in Excel spreadsheet, re-using pass or root plus slight variant are behind us. This tool lets me disable an access for people who leave the company, share pass for accounts like Amazon Prime and USPS and to generate unique secure passwords for each site and credential.
CONS: In my opinion, the design is a mess, it has different settings stored in all over the place. Also, re-enrolling phones for 2-factor auth is difficult one. And they managed to fix some security issues in the news created FUD within the upper management department.

PROS: It’s great tool to offer your clients security so they can share sensitive credentials among them. It is more professional way to share something important instead of asking them to send you over email. You can easily go back and find passwords shared months before.
CONS: I wish everyone in our team have an access to clients shared passwords or an admin could distribute shared passwords to other members. Also, the constant notifications to add site to LastPass can be frustrating especially when I’m searching the internet for personal purposes and away from work. I don’t really want to add personal sites to LastPass.

PROS: LastPass allows me to store and access huge amount of passwords and notes from phone, work PC and home PC. I really believe in strong passwords but they are hard to remember so with this tool I am able to enter a new set od credentials on my PC and after few minuts I can have an access from my phone. It provides lot of options to secure the access like an ability of 2-factor authentication for the web version, setting to prompt for master password every time we access the vault or prompt for master pass for a site. The other thing that I like is the access on my mobile device. Also, it allows you to export the vault to a text file, print it out and put it into safety deposit box.
CONS: When using on my Android, if I click back and forth from username to pass fields it will ask to fill in the creds. Also, I don’t like the folder design and I don’t want using them because I feel they limit me, it would be great if they could include tabs. Furthermore, pass generator can be pretty lame and it doesn’t generate great pass as well.

PROS: I like that my PC is secured and all I need are my masterpass which are high more complicated. I have my pass stored with LastPass and this means that browsing the internet is safe and more convenient.
CONS: There are some bugs/issues with its functionality, for e.g. it doesn’t force me to sign into pas vault even if I have logged out of LP aqnd will fill in pass automatically. It would be great if they could make pass vault more comprehensive when it comes to storing pass and viewing them.

PROS: I’ve been using LastPass for few years by now and they constantly improve the program so it’s getting better and better. We are using it to keep records of bank account numbers, credit cards and other secure information. I like that I can attach documents so we can use them in our vault. It is great tool to keep track of sensitive information. I like its premium version $12yr because it allows us to sync all LP information in our vault to our mobile devices and this means that we have all the pass and other info with us all the time. I like the option to autofill into apps on the phone because we can automatically capture and fill for websites on the desktop.
CONS: One of the best tools I have ever used.

PROS: I like that I can share access to all my accounts and others wihtout sharing personal pass and I can even control when I want someone to stop having an access to those accounts. I work along with my boss and he trusts me enough to confide his pass to me, but we are using this tool for others.
CONS: The mobile app is wonderful and free to use but I don’t like the pop-ups when I type something even at places that have nothing to do with signing up or logging in somewhere.

PROS: LastPass stores all passwords in easy and accessible place. I’m using it for personal and business purposes and it saves me lot of work when it comes to keeping information and pass. All you have to think about is keeping your LastPass password, everything else is secure and under control.
CONS: What I don’t like is that it can be really hard signing in from different location, I understand that the security is their priority but when I need a pass quick it can be frustrating. Also, if we want to provde access to everyone in the team we have to pay fair amount, but for personal usage free version is great.
