Considered as one of the powerful tools offered by LegFi, the dues management functionality of this financial and billing software automates the collection of dues. This enables organizations to receive credit card and e-check payments from their members online. The sending of invoices, which can either be in the form of paper or electronic, is also simplified through this feature.

A noticeable component of LegFi’s dues management system is its capability to send automatic payment reminders to the members of a group. These automatic reminders are sent by the software through US mail or email.

This functionality is very helpful because it notifies members when their payments are due. When payments are sent past due, automatic reminders are also sent. Users, furthermore, can make phone calls to delinquent members to notify them about their past due payments; or they can send them to a third party collection agency.

Another feature of LegFi is its budget management capability. With this feature, users will be able to prepare and build the annual budget for their group in  a quick and simplified manner. This functionality allows users to link their bank accounts to LegFi, enabling them to pull up their expenses directly and automatically from these bank accounts.

Through the budget management feature of LegFi, users will also be able to check their actual revenue and expenses against their estimates. Comparison of profit and loss can be done using this functionality, as well as, viewing the aging of accounts.

Meanwhile, The communication tools in LegFi allow groups to promote an interactive communication between their members and officers/leaders. Members will be able to send feedback and answer surveys, and they can be viewed by the group leaders in real- time.

This functionality can also be extended to the communities the group are reaching out. The surveys that they can create using the software contain multiple answer options; hence, they will be able to collect detailed and accurate feedback.

Users will also be able to send mass emails and texts, and they have the option to  send them either to all of their members or to a selected few. These emails and texts are sent automatically at a push of a button.
