PROS: The integration with Salsa Engage (email & marketing) is, far and away, the best aspect of Salsa, but there are many other platforms that can do this for far less money. Imports are straightforward and there is simple way to global update- ie add all in an import to a Salsa Engage group.
CONS: Salsa CRM is not intuitive or easy to use, limiting the use within our organization to one staff person (NOT what you want in a donor platform or CRM). Manual data entry is clunky and time consuming. The built in formats emphasize services we don't offer/ info we don't need to collect and seem better suited to a very large fundraising enterprise. It is very difficult to customize data fields in a way that is easy for others to see and use. There is a limit to how many customizable fields you can have. It is way overpriced. Customer service is almost nonexistent. They couldn't even send the bill to the right place. They locked us in for a 3 year contract and we got very little value from that contract. The charge s are not upfront, hidden additional fees. Running a report is time consuming, repetitive, and not intuitive. Should I continue?

PROS: I enjoy the latest component interface. It displays all the latest operations and searches data on a single device. As well, Salsa is so easily understandable that we've had minimal trouble having personnel back in operation. User permissions provide sufficient versatility in which operators could maintain data security stable while letting users get some control over the information.
CONS: Transferring to Excel in a certain document does not consider cash fields as amounts. I am always personally fixing it before I submit financial statements and question findings to the team and the organization. Personalized features enable charitable organizations to build their database files consisting of information that we want to gather, however some details generated by applications which we don't monitor can not be deleted such as sex, religion, race, etc.. The author does not always enable messages to be revised. If a picture is inserted into a message, it could not be modified by the CRM. As eventually as the modifications are saved, the original letter will vanish. These are problems that I hope Salsa is going to be able to address these concerns.

PROS: We used excel sheets and Salsa placed almost all our sponsors in one position and made it easy for us to connect with them via Engage. We already have a background of our contributors and can quickly determine their engagement within our company. The great feature had been on-line activity scheduling, preventing workers from making reservations and responding to questions. The method is all available on the site and convenient for our visitors to use.
CONS: The software program needed a few things to be ok with, because once we understood how well it operated. Private document formatting saves more time.

PROS: The Salsa staff is very experienced and polite. They even identify you as a user. Clay Rios is helpful and knowledgeable, and he can make me happy. I'm looking forward to have a discussion with him. However the whole Salsa customer service team is supportive.
CONS: There have been instances that they put you on hold. It's more convenient to call in the customer service in the morning.

PROS: Since our workplace was expanded around our nation, I enjoyed how convenient it was to coordinate with all our personnel in a reasonable time.
CONS: I hope this was more economical. It's been too costly with our program. I also really want the members would have been more attentive. It takes us at most a day to receive messages whenever the application was have minor problem.

PROS: We've already bought, rented, awarded and experienced too many resources to mention. Before we eventually discovered SALSA. The system is continuously updating and adding functionality, customer satisfaction is completely outstanding, and their commitment to the end-user is apparent in the functionality they provide and the enhancements they had already implemented over through the years that we were together. Every CRM system does have problems with it. A few of the factors that set SALSA away from everyone else is their customer support staff. They take a very long mile but then they're merely trying beyond that to collaborate with you, resolve any issues users start experiencing, recommending advanced functionality to the management team depending on your necessities. This software is superb.
CONS: I am not as happy with the idea of their collaborator in the handling of contributions. For instance –, when a funder wants to raise their amount donated, you should postpone their old charitable contribution, and they'll have to get in there and make the latest voluntary contribution. Most of their teaching materials open up so much to be done, however, the capability of their customer service staff is more than just that.

PROS: Salsa CRM is flexible to our growing charity. It's customizable to allow us to communicate precisely what we want from our sponsors, volunteers and customers. Customer service is simple, attentive, thinking of out-of-box systems based upon my specific needs.
CONS: The operating system is complicated because there are so many features that it requires some time to work hard to find everything. Within a year, the device always updating.

PROS: Having information from questions is simple and helps me to dig in and sort to get precisely what I want and for a task. The greatest part about Salsa is your employees who are helping me achieve what I want to do. I've been working on Clay, with Pittsburgh a lot of times, and he is friendly, competent, effective and also always offers outstanding customer support, taught me easiest way and seems to be incredibly detailed and doesn't even end our workshop until I'm happy that I got anything I needed.
CONS: I wasn't trained when I accepted my job, so I'll have to invest time trying to understand Salsa. Sadly, my duties and obligations prohibit me from having the requisite learning programs to be expert to use Salsa. I 'm looking forward to educating our employees personally or on-site!

PROS: Salsa CRM helps manage a consistent assessment within the program and continues to extend the functionality while the organization expands. This software allows us to find contributors and ensure that they stay faithful every time, and this system also offers accurate contribution approaches and helps to address management challenges with an excellent experience. This system allows for a successful relationship between contributors and fundraising approaches. All items and methods are verified for the individual who donates, and the collection process is really easy. So we can also contribute information quickly.
CONS: This software will convert previous information and one has to create a new system and give data on another number. Thus, there must be a clear description of all clients, but everyone can find this tool useful when building a new system.
