PROS: I like that it works better for NFPs, compared to Quickbooks. It's also user-friendly and easy to install. We are able to import all contacts and their donations, as well as file our 990 using Aplos. Their support team is very responsive to our concerns. We're able to become more organized and use the data we need on a case by case basis. It's also affordable and effective.
CONS: It would be helpful if the query feature, which is already great in itself, can be further improved by including all available fields in the system. The reports can use an upgrade too. It has all the necessary basics but lacks one about Comparative Income Statements for the previous year. It would also be great to add notes and attach schedules in the Budget tool. Combining the dashboard for Volunteer Management, Donor Management and Accounting would also be great. The email tool is comparable to other more popular tools with a plus on being a time saver. It would also be great if there is an indicator for donations that have already been acknowledged.
The least favorable review
PROS: I love that Aplos personalizes their service. They also respond promptly in case you have concerns about your account.
CONS: It would be great to still be able to find the report templates I use regularly, especially when they would introduce updates often.

PROS: I like that Aplos allows me to handle accounting for our funds better than other cloud-based software. The customer service is great because they're responsive and provides tools and training opportunities for us to improve.
CONS: It would be great if the issues are few and far between because it can feel tiring. It would also be helpful for the reporting to be improved, such as being able to import deposits per batch, instead of manual entry.
