PROS: If you have a multi-store setup, its basically impossible to bulk manage your products without Magento Store Manager. We also use the product to import and export products from Magento which again, is another activity you cannot do without this solution.
CONS: It's a desktop-based app, but thats for a reason. Sure it would great if it were a saas type solution, but then you deal with all sorts of potential security issues, so the desktop app is probably the only way to go.
Saved a lot of time and solved a difficult Magento problem.
