PROS: Tipalti has saved my life so many times in sending out payment by batches. It did a spectacular job handling thousands of payees at the same time. Everything was done by hand before I discovered this gem. When I made my switch, it saved a lot of time! Setting it up and migrating data took a bit of time, but Tipalti was right there with me the entire time. Great support staff too!
CONS: One downer for me is that I had a difficult time checking an image. The only way for me to make that happen is by going through customer support. While the process won't make you wait long, it's still a step that I find annoying. Keep in mind that this just a minor issue not a big one!

PROS: Requires an effective process for publishing, receiving approvals and collecting payments. Services are fantastic and the app is really easy to use.
CONS: I find certain perspectives namely that you can still see outstanding debts from the method of payment page just for the same recipient and also from the billing page with all account holders are still a little inconsistent, although shortcuts at the top of the screens may help minimize scrolling, it might be a function unique to the pricing strategy we had, so it wasn't intended to become a criticism.

PROS: Tipalti is capable of processing different kinds of payments. It can initialize ACH, checks, and wire transfers simultaneously to trim down the APR processing. Approval processing. Even though we haven't tried the iFrame integration, we like its potential. We're excited to finally get our vendors to have complete control of updating their payment of preference as well looking into their payment history.
CONS: There's currently no integration with QBO. But I was informed this come around soon.

PROS: One of the greatest things with this app is that our payess can look into payment details without us having to send out statements. The process involved in registration is simple. Our payees can receive payment in the form of a check or ACH. They have the option to update their own contact or payment preferences as well as tax details in their own time.
CONS: Initially, collecting payment details appeared to be a tedious process. But after trying it out the first time, they were able to do things within the app without any help.

PROS: I love how this software works! I can easily pay the invoices that I want and in batches. Training non-account types are super simple. Onboarding new suppliers and vendors are a cinch! It's a blessing to have something like this despite some caveats.
CONS: So far, it doesn't have a 1099 automation. There's not option to set up multiple payments for one user. It seems there's no integration to the ERP we're currently running.

PROS: We're newbies to Tipalti and it was imperative for us to have a strong customer support. That's what Tipalti gave us. Whenever we wanted to ask something about the software, their customer support responded to us right away through email. Sometimes they would call us over the phone to offer assistance. They're really great!

Overall impression
Great system overall for the price. Readily reachable support when needed. Data is easily managed and we generally have a seamless AP schedule thanks to Tipalti. I've used the system now for a little over 2 years and haven't had too many issues that were generated from Tipalti.
We've had some integration issues in the past with our system database which have caused delays so results can sometimes vary if the other side of Tipalti isn't on their primary list of compatible software. We did know this but with the help of their support, these issues are coming to a minimum if not complete stop.
Overall impression
Tipalti has been such a life saver in terms of getting payments out in large batches and managing over 1,000 payees. I was handling everything by hand prior to Tipalti or using online banking, and by switching I have saved so much time. The process of getting set up and migrating some data over took some time and brain power, but Tipalti was right beside me the whole way. The support staff has been great and are always willing to help. The biggest con for me right now is just not being able to quickly see a check image. I have to request that through support. It usually doesn't take long, but it is an extra step. With that said, it isn't THAT big of a con :)
Overall impression
Tipalti has helped us scale our A/P process significantly in the past year. We've gone from paying our partners manually, one by one, to automating a bulk of the work. Having Tipalti integrated to collect payment and tax information on our behalf has freed up resources and allowed us to focus on more value added projects.
