Wiredrive Review

PROS: I could wax poetry for Wiredrive--this is how much I adore this program. For one, it helps me work more efficiently. See, I don’t work autonomously. My works still need to be vetted thoroughly--going through many approvers at a time. Before Wiredrive, whenever any of these approvers make comments about the videos that I create, I don’t always instantly know which part of the video they want me to edit. However, with Wiredrive, it can pinpoint the exact timestamp (down to the last millisecond) the comment was made, making my job a lot less stressful. I can quickly share my videos with clients too.

CONS: As much as I love working with Wiredrive, there is but one minor issue I have noticed ever since working with it. File-naming is important to me, for both organizational and personal preferences. However, this program likes to organize our files by order of the data we created our files in. I’ve had to do some backbends just to get these files in proper order, but I would like to avoid having to do the extra work moving forward. Numerics don’t seem to translate properly on Wiredrive too.

PROS: Just about anyone--and I mean anyone ranging from novice to expert--can enjoy the benefits of this product. It’s fairly easy to use and has an impressive structuring system that can organize even the most extensive digital library imaginable.

CONS: The process of uploading files on Wiredrive can still be trimmed down. Right now its goes as 1) saving the media item first 2) then uploading it on Wiredrive. I think that the first step can stand to be removed from the process.

PROS: We’ve weighed Wiredrive against other similar solutions and have determined it to be the better option. Why? Three things: simplicity, security, and great customer service. First, it has a straightforward layout that leaves no room for confusion. I also feel like our data is properly protected inside this program. And lastly, they have an efficient team working for them too. They have always been quick and willing to respond to our issues.

CONS: The environment, as it turns out, is not quite for everyone. A lot of our clients have a hard time navigating through it. As a response, I have had to create some training clips to help them use the platform properly. I wish I didn’t have to go through this step. It would be helpful if the developers would simplify the program further.

PROS: I love how easy to navigate Wiredrive is. One more thing that I love about it is that it prompts all the affected parties whenever a video under their work folder has been edited.

CONS: The number of views is important to me, and so I would like to be notified whenever someone opens my video and watches it. I think another thing that the developers should focus on is the edit-all function. Right now, I’d have to edit each video individually to roll out a minor change.

PROS: Wiredrive is truly one of the best video-sharing platforms available in today’s market. It boasts of a dozen features that make a lot of room for teamwork and constructive feedback. I especially like just how easy it is to solicit for comments. On the other end of the spectrum, giving feedback is just as easy too--I can even add the specific timestamp so my teammates know which specific part of the clip they can still improve on. It has a pretty convenient PnP functionality as well.

CONS: Wiredrive does not have many edges to its competitors.

PROS: The best thing about Wiredrive is its simple and clean design. I love how easy it is to navigate. It provides so much room for collaboration and gives you an almost real-time notification whenever a file in your workgroup has been edited.

CONS: I wish they would allow us to make edits on our videos on a large-scale. It can be quite tedious to roll out the changes on each clip. The developers need to add push notification for whenever the videos are getting streamed.

PROS: The project section is well-structured, the tool is easy to use and it allows you to easily keep information secure through its management system. We work on projects that require NDA’s and projects are highly sensitive when it comes to sharing the information. Wiredrive offers a feature that allows us to keep the information safe and secure.

CONS: There is no ability to “lock” shared presentations, for e.g. sometimes someone from our team forget to copy the reel and work off of that before they make any changes and this messes up the base reel for anyone, it would be great if they could lock a reel so we can avoid this kind of mess. In addition, the separation between Admin and Library is not as intutive as it should be. I’d like to make basic changes to videos without going to the menu, hit the admin and research the video all over again. They could make it simpler. Furthermore, there is no way to create unique link for individual video without building a presentation, for e.g. when I want to send one video I’d like to generate a link from library to share it quickly but this is not the case because I have to spend lot of time to create a presentation.

PROS: I used other solutions that are similar to Wiredrive but this one is one of the cleanest product I have ever worked with. I can easily create custom reels.

CONS: When I’m in a library and creating reel and when scrolling down and click on a spot when clicking out I’m brought back to the top of the library instead of being where I had been. Also, when it comes to tracking analytics I’d like to see which views are from separate IP addresses, this is one of the most important thing of the data and I really like to have an information about this one.

PROS: There are several things that I love about Wiredrive. For one, it has a well-built and dependable search feature in place. It also gives room for collaboration, making file sharing with teammates and customers very easy to do. I also love how I can segregate my media work files and personal media files inside its folders.

CONS: As impressive as its functions are, some features can still stand to be improved. For one, the reports are not as exhaustive as I need them to be.

PROS: With Wiredrive we can easily build and maintain media library and it provides great option to customize the user experience for all the members of the team. I love the reel statistics and analytics data, they are key metrics in our daily analysis of our sales and business.

CONS: I used other tools similar to this one and I cannot really think of anything to dislike. Even if there is something that doesn’t exist within the system its support team works with us to find workarounds or they simply include new features and tools that we need.

PROS: I like its commenting system. The uploading and adding comments with direct links to time stamps is time-saving solution. I don’t have to waste my time in order to find what my clients are referring to.

CONS: I don’t like the dedicated popup window when uploading, it would be great if I could move it to the folder I’m in. Other thing that I find annoying is the fact that it requires refreshing the page in order to see the change. Also, I’d like to drag and move files in and out of folders with mouse, becuase selecting and choosing where to move through dropdowns is time-wasting.

PROS: We have met great people at Wiredrive and we are extremely satisfied from Rob. We have never experienced an issue with delivering. To tell the truth, Wiredrive may have one of the best tools and functionality but none of that would matter if it didn’t work consistently. The uploads and downloads are fast. Also, I love Wiredrive’s library feature, it works great.

CONS: Whenever I upload a content I have to refresh the page manually so I can see the content and create a link. It would be great if they could make the refreshing automatically.

PROS: Wiredrive is our N1. tool for sharing files with lot of clients. I can easily manage projects, files and their security. It offers great setr of options including notifications and reports. It can be use even by less tech employees and clients. The layout is customizable and looks professional. It is easy to use and clients can easily view the work on any device at any time.

CONS: The reports on usage are off but this is happening from time to time.

PROS: This software has great organizational tools and it is extremely easy to use and you can easily teach others how it works. There are no problems with video plays and they play smoothly on every device. Changes we make are immediate and easy, we can easily create simple and effective search fields.

CONS: I have complaint about the price, it seems high when comparing to other tools. Also, It would be greta if they could include an option to make adjusts to the site layout without the need to contact the support team. And they could include customizable user categories because pre-set options do not always meet user’s needs.
