Wrike Workflow Management is a software you can use to create your own custom workflows that give you visibility over the status and progress of your projects. Wrike’s Workflows is made up of a set of task statuses that represent the typical state each task can be over its lifecycle. Each workflow comprises four groups: active, completed, deferred and canceled. With Wrike’s feature set, managing multiple projects is streamlined.
Through Wrike’s workflow management tool, status meetings are no longer needed as everyone has visibility over the stage of each task or project in the workflow—whether it’s currently planned, in progress, being reviewed or completed. Built-in notifications alert you of important tasks to keep track of what’s important. They can be customized and turned on or off according to your preference.
Wrike Workflow Management helps you build a path by streamlining the process and giving you visibility of every stage of the workflow. You can then set a timeline to keep track of your project, prioritize goals, review the outcome and then analyze the results. All Wrike users can get their hands on default workflows. Meanwhile, for those who want to leverage their workflows through customization, opting for the Business or Enterprise accounts is essential.
Show MoreWrike Workflow Management helps your team save time and increase productivity by organizing and overseeing your work processes. Here are some of the benefits you’ll get from this tool:
Visibility of workflow updates
Wrike shows clarity over the stage of each task or project in the workflow in a single tool. Through the default workflow, users get one status for each of the four groups in the workflow. You can also build custom workflows that reflect the ideal processes of your team for its status. This eliminates the need for holding meetings to determine where a work stands or combing through messages to spot the latest updates. By keeping everyone in your team on the right page, everyone can increase their productivity in accomplishing your goals.
Generate and update reports
Wrike’s online workflow management tool slices and dices your data in real-time. Reports are then generated and updated using the latest information available. This solution eliminates the time-consuming task associated with maintaining spreadsheets. Not only is it tedious to enter cells, formulas, and graphs for executing reporting, it is also prone to potential human error. Furthermore, it becomes more challenging as data needs to be regularly added and updated.
Identifies process improvements
The complete visibility in Wrike shows you where processes are inefficient. For instance, if a task is in review and waiting for approval for a couple of weeks, this means your review and approval processes need to be given some attention. Dashboards are highly customizable so you can choose to only see your priorities and reduce clutter. Daily work can easily be managed by dragging and dropping them under “New,” “In Progress,” and “Completed” for your consolidated to-dos.
Notifications for work tracking
Getting reminders is an important aspect of workflow management for team members to be reminded of tasks, especially if they are overdue or approaching the deadline. The notifications are designed not to bombard you. Instead, they are customizable according to your preferences and priorities which can be turned on or off accordingly. Meanwhile, Wrike also offers integrations with other tools to expand the functionality of managing workflows between different systems.
Show MoreSince businesses have unique business needs, it is only rational they steer clear of deciding on an all-encompassing, ”best” software product. Just the same, it is futile to chance on such a software solution even among widely used software solutions. The practicable step to undertake is to narrow down the various significant aspects that call for a deliberation such as critical features, plans, skill capability of staff, business size, etc. Next, you must do your research thoroughly. Browse over these Wrike reviews and look into each of the software products in your list more closely. Such well-rounded research can make sure you avoid unfit apps and pay for the one which includes all the function your business requires.
Position of Wrike in our main categories:
Wrike is one of the top 3 Workflow Management Software products
It's important to realize that almost no service in the Workflow Management Software category is a perfect solution able to meet all the requirements of different business types, sizes and industries. It may be a good idea to read a few Wrike Workflow Management Software reviews first as some services may dominate just in a really narrow group of applications or be designed with a very specific type of industry in mind. Others might operate with an intention of being simple and intuitive and therefore lack complex features desired by more experienced users. You can also come across services that cater to a wide group of users and give you a rich feature base, however that frequently comes at a higher price of such a service. Make sure you're aware of your requirements so that you get a service that has exactly the functionalities you search for.

PROS: There are lot of helpful features within Wrike starting from Gantt chart- that helps you with complex projects that require different tasks or phases in order to be completed, to Folders & Projects- Organization that helps you to manage projects from different angles like: customer-driven, sales-driven, marketing-driven and it allows you to manipulate and move projects into various folders. The Tasks feature allows you to assign the tasks to different people within the team. There is even an option for duplicating folders with their tasks
CONS: I’d like to create dependencies between projects. In addition, when I want to change a tasks’ deadline it automatically changes the subtasks’ deadline and whenever I want to push some things forward/backward with Gantt chart I need to go into each subtask to adjust them as well. Also, the duration can be complicated especially when we have several tasks and we are not sure about the actual time on a given day whether it is enough or not.

PROS: A very powerful project management tool with some good features
CONS: Be careful with Wrike - after being a customer for 2 years they massively increased our renewal price. It's now totally unaffordable and we're having to move to an alternative, which is especially annoying after the amount of time it took to train our staff in Wrike.

PROS: This tool is flexible and easy to use. Its support team is great and it provides great videos that help you to better understand this tool. Our team found new way of collaborating and they have really improved the delivery time and reduce the meeting hours for checking project updates.
CONS: First of all, there is no way to automatically export report into PDF format, I have to log in check the reporting system every single day. I’d really like to receive print report in my email. Also, they could make the request from builder more flexible.

PROS: What I like most about Wrike is its flexibility. It allows you to customize the experience the way you want so it can suit all your needs. We were searching for a solution so we can replace home-grown software that is written by someone who no longer works at our place. We are non-profit organization and the price that Wrike offers is great.
CONS: We use this software for more than 3 years, whenever we run into some issues or misunderstandings we call its customer team and they resolve the solution for us.

PROS: Love the product at first. Sadly In 2 of my companies, and in one i know the same thing has happened. We evaluated the software, and the team for one reason or another decided not to use it. Wrike became UNREACHABLE and INFLEXBILE. The do not allow for size or contract downsizing, if you slow or stop using it. For a small firm $1000/month is insanely high for a project management software that you do not use. No matter what we said, they will not compromise even slightly. So we are paying $12K!!!!!! extra for sofware we no longer use. Steer clear of this company if you are using for corporate use. 1 or 2 people maybe ..

Ease of Use
PROS: Wrike is made for managing various projects with various team members. We use it to keep track of all the activities during the last week and while performing weekly team meeting. It allows you to create project and subtasks within the same project. I like the upload attachment feature so we can easily track the tasks that are related to specific documents instead of searching them through emails. Also, the dates on the tasks is also helpful and I like that I get To Do list emailed with all the dates prioritized.
CONS: Sometimes I forget to use Time Tracking feature. Also, when I get an email that someone is editing a task it can be difficult to match up the email and what I see on Wrike. Additionally, it can be difficult to locate specific tasks when they are moved or marked inactive.

PROS: I like how they planned the functionality of this product. It allows you to create new custom fields which is great thing. It offers multiple ways to review all your projects. You can view them as a list, in a timeline, in a workload and on boards. It is powerful tool and it offers great customer service and documentation.
CONS: They could update the interface and improve the mobile-app. Unfortunately, you cannot use this product on anything except on computer or tablet. Also, there are lot of features and you will need some time in order to learn them all.

PROS: I like that I’m able to invite any contact so they can contribute to a project. Its UI is intuitive and it doesn’t require much time to learn how it functions. It allows lot of ways to view the tasks in a timeline and in a project, and this means that different users will get the information that is most relevant to them.
CONS: When dealing with numerous projects the deeper views and settings can be very complex. It is great tool but it has some complexity when it comes to multiple projects.

Ease of Use
PROS: Wrike simply creates "time". Having tired several free trials of various PM options, Wrike immediately offers the user a user friendly, intuitive, and contemporary framework/design. Thorough analytics with a variety of views generated with less than 1-3 clicks; ahhhhh measurement, tracking with little to no effort or time...you can apply the time and efforts on actual projects and tasks. The collaboration and all in one hub design gives back HOURS in day bc you aren't chasing, searching, categorizing emails to find the trail of info, drafts, approvals, etc. The Outlook integration is tops - communications with wrike application users and external to wrike. With Wrike, you can have scheduled reports, daily view tasks, etc. sent to yourself, others, or a distribution list, and all have links to the specified items. And not enough room here for app praise. (The app rocks)
CONS: The export to excel functionality could be improved upon.

PROS: Other solutions we used so far do not match the simplicity and flexibility of Wrike. Its creative arrangement of folders enables us to sort tasks by agency client and department. We also use Wrike’s API to place the tasks into our custom marketing reports each month. Plus, Wrike’s draggable waterfalls view and overall interface are a dream to work with. At the same time all these features do not hamper Wrike’s flexibility at all.
CONS: Wrike’s default dashboard as well as reporting feature could be improved. However, I understand that Wrike is not a custom app designed specifically for our company’s needs. For example, we have a range of alarms for many types of metrics and these issues cannot be solved by Wrike or any other software for that matter as they are not written specifically for them. Apart from these issues, we find Wrike is a perfect software.
