Zoho Vault Review

Zoho Vault
Our score: 8.2 User satisfaction: 100%

What is Zoho Vault?

Zoho Vault is one of the many business applications from Zoho, which in particular provides users with a comprehensive suite of password management features that includes business-friendly user management and collaboration. The tool enables users to securely store, share, and manage their passwords from anywhere.

Zoho Vault also allows users to share passwords with team members. The platform also offers support for multiple vaults, called Chambers. Permissions can be given to certain team members so they can access certain vaults. This feature allows for quick and easy segregation of company-related accounts from users’ personal credentials. Admins can simply give team members access to the “Work” chamber to let them login to company accounts.

Administrators will love the fact that Zoho Vault allows them to set their own password protocols, like requiring 15-character alphanumeric passwords with lowercase and uppercase letters that need to be changed every month.

Overview of Zoho Vault Benefits

Starting with Zoho Vault is quite a breeze. Installation and operation is quick, and does not require any expertise to get started. On top of that, Zoho Vault functions across different platforms with a single account. Users only have to give their email ID to register and subscribe to the service.

Zoho Vault allows users to share their passwords securely among other members of the team. To separate passwords and access effectively, Zoho Vault enables users to create different vaults or chambers, and specify which vaults are accessible to fellow team members and which ones should remain private and confidential.

Zoho Vault puts the privacy and protection of its users first and foremost, which is why its security protocols performs to the highest level. Any information processed and entered in to the Chambers are inaccessible to unauthorized parties and remain private. The passwords are protected with AE-256 encryption. Simply put, no one can enter Zoho Vault’s vaunted Chamber without knowing the Passphrase set by the user. To add another layer of protection, the data on Passphrase is never stored anywhere on Zoho.

With Zoho Vault, there is no need to manually put in login credentials to connect to websites and applications. Users can also set their own clear-cut ownership for all their passwords as well as permissions and roles to each user, the latter allowing admins to fine tune team members’ access controls. And if someone is no longer part of the team, it is easy to remove their access too.
