PROS: AppZen is a unique software that we utilize to keep track of our expenditures and simultaneously manage our finances. Our business started expanding, so it means that we have new customers coming in every day, making it more difficult for us to audit our receipts, invoices, and other forms of expenses. We knew that we needed help, so we decided to acquire Appzen to help us analyze everything going on within the company. It helps us eliminate the risks of fraud, which can cost us our entire business if ever someone from our team gets caught with it.
CONS: I can say that I am happy with the way Appzen is working and how reliable it is in finding any faults or gaps within our audit process. Most of the time, the app works seamlessly on my computer or my cellphone, which I should be thankful for because I can do my job more effectively. Although there is one thing that I have observed with the product, it freezes whenever I attempt to use multiple features simultaneously. I think that they should look into these scenarios so that users could multitask and be more productive.

PROS: It helps me sort out different types of transactions according to their importance and financial risks to the company. I don’t have any issues regarding approving the usual routine expenses that fall within a reasonable amount. But there are instances where receipts and transactions become questionable, so we have to spend more time reviewing them to ensure that nothing is going on behind our backs.
CONS: I need to get regular reminders regarding reports that need my immediate attention or approval. The problem is that Appzen does not have this feature, so I need to make it a habit to check the app first thing in the morning to work on these things ASAP. Second would be the conversion of currency settings from USD to other options. There are variances in the numerical values showing on the reports, which is sometimes above 10K, which is the usual limit of Appzen. We usually get alerts for these types of reports, which should not be the case.
Disbursement reports are now more transparent and error free.

PROS: The submission of weekly expenses is made easy and convenient through Appzen. You can use your mobile phone to take pictures of all the ORs that you were able to compile. Send them to your manager for further assessment, approval, then reimbursement.
CONS: They need to look into some features that are not working. Some tasks take longer than the usual to complete because it has to be done manually.

PROS: Using an app that is controlled by artificial intelligence certainly works well for us. It does a wonderful job of analyzing both simple and complex data and reports and any inconsistencies on its own. It would automatically scan documents and send out a hit if there’s anything wrong with it so our auditors can look into it right away.
CONS: I really cannot figure out anything that I don’t like about Appzen. I think that investing in this type of AI software is one of the best things that our company has done. It does a fantastic job of uncovering anomalies in purchasing company assets and overspending in individual projects and business travels. Without AppZen, I know very well that we will be losing more money in the long run.

PROS: There is no need to check all items one at a time because Appzen can scan them by batches. The process is more manageable and efficient for the rest of our staff. Learning how the entire platform works can be achieved in just a few hours, which adds to a better user experience.
CONS: I wish that it would automatically convert to the currency that we are using. The app's currency settings are in US dollars, so we usually get an alert that our expenses are way lower than what's expected, which is questionable. However, our reports indicate our local money expenses, so it creates confusion in some ways.

PROS: As an auditor, it is my job to go through all the financial documents of the company. Usually, it takes me five days to review and compare everything, which is so tasking on my end. Now I can complete my audit process faster, which saves me so much time.

PROS: With so many employees working in the company, it's impossible to go through expense reports one by one. We consolidate all reports into Concur and give Appzen ample time to scan and run everything. Any unusual expense would alert us so we can investigate further.
CONS: Appzen does not recognize all currencies except US dollars. Manual conversion is possible, but it takes so much time.

PROS: I sometimes have challenges spotting duplicates, especially when I have to go through hundreds of documents. I don’t have to worry about making any mistakes anymore because Appzen auditing is no longer a chore.
