ClicData serves as a data warehouse which allows users to store and centralize all their important data from their different systems in one place. In addition, the business intelligence dashboard solution ensures that users are able to convert their data into useful information. It helps them establish and maintain uniformity and consistency of data across their data warehouse. To be able to do all of these, ClickData offers its data management features.

In general, the data management features of ClicData provide users three ways to manipulate their data: clean, merge or combine, and transform data.  Cleaning of data means that data are normalized and standardized as users prepare them to be viewed and utilized in the dashboards. As an example, to normalize data, the software removes extra spaces between text data and fill in empty fields. To ensure that data are standardized, data that have different values but are referring to the same content are converged into one value. For instance, “U.S.A.”, “US”, and “USA” are all automatically changed to “United States.”

Meanwhile, ClicData also enables users to connect their data from different sources into a single table. This feature is called Data Merge. As an example, they will be able to combine their current sales number with their sales targets. With this merging, they can easily and instantly check and compare the actual sales they made against their sales targets.

Interestingly, all the data that users merge will be automatically synchronized with the individual data sets they have in their data sources. Thus, as an illustration, when they make changes or updates on their current sales from a data source or system, ClicData will also automatically update its merged data (current sales number and target sales).  With this feature, users don’t have to merge or combine data from time to time.

Furthermore, ClicData allows users to transform their data, so they will be able to automatically change their raw data from various sources into forms that are most useful for them. They can instantly filter or group their data. They can also instantly add new calculated columns; as a result, when their data source is updated, the uploaded data in ClicData will automatically be changed, filling up details or values in the columns.

Other interesting features of ClicData are its dashboard sharing and publishing functionalities. Users will be able to share their dashboards with their colleagues or teammates through email. Dashboards can be attached to emails as PDF, image, or Live Links. If there are updates made in the dashboards, other users will also be able to receive email notifications. Moreover, ClicData enables users to embed their dashboards to platforms or apps they are using as a team, enabling them to collaborate with others directly from their dashboards.
