Google Chart Tools Review

PROS: It has a high ability to present data in the simplest form. When you compare it with excel, Google Chart tools offers reliable presentations that are easy to create and understand for your audience. It is also free which adds to the cost saving factor. If you own a small business, you can utilize the features of this product to make presentations that will communicate to both your customers and staff. It can be difficult to create presentations that are simple for all to understand. Luckily, with Google Chart Tools you can achieve this with ease.

CONS: Although free, it is not entirely free for some of the features you want to use. You will be required to pay for the extra functionality that comes with the product. Another drawback is that some features are missing in Google Chart Tools but they are available in Excel. This means that if you want advanced features in creating or coming up with presentations, you might not find that in Google Chart Tools. This product is suitable when you are creating simple charts and thus it means that you have to use Excel if you want to come up with complex charts or presentations. It would be better for the developers of the tool to include more complex features such that it can be able to accommodate complex charts.

PROS: From the start, the tool is simple to use. You do not have to undergo a rigorous training to learn how it works. It comes with a simple guide that quickly gets you up to speed with what you are supposed to do. The good thing about it is that, you can analyze huge data and present it in the form of graphs, tables and charts. As a result, you will be able to make the best decisions regarding finance and management of your business. All data is loaded and interpreted on a real time basis which adds to its accuracy. It is also easy to customize the graphs and charts the way you like or according to your business or presentation needs. It is a free tool which saves the cost altogether.

CONS: It is a great tool with great features. I can create professional and well-designed graphs and charts with this software. At first, it was all smooth. However, it takes time to learn and explore all the features and make the best use of them. Apart from that, it only works when you are online or connected to the internet. It would be nice if it would offer the same experience as to when you are working with it offline. This would help to increase flexibility in analyzing and interpreting data into graphs and charts.

PROS: It is intuitive in terms of its features. With its ability to provide different templates and chart models, you can find something to get started in creating graphs and charts. It offers a friendly interface for anyone, regardless of whether you are an expert or not, to come up with attractive charts and graphs. You can also access all the charts on the dashboard by linking them. Users can utilize the services of Google Spreadsheets to store or keep live data so that it can be analyzed by the Google Chart Tools.

CONS: Although the tool offers reliable analytics and presentable functionalities, I do not know how long Google will keep it around. This is because, there was the Image Charts which had better functionality as compared to the current version, Google Chart Tools, but Google scrapped it off in 2012. This was a disappointing move as the Image Charts were a better pick and most users were used to what it had to offer. It would be better if they brought back the previous version or integrate it with the current version to offer the best of the two worlds.

PROS: It is easy to customize the tool in terms of editing. It is a cloud-based platform which means you can access it from different platform and customize it based on your needs. Google Chart Tools aid in coming up with charts, tables and graphs so that you can understand the data analyzed better. It is an interactive tool that will help you in business meetings when you are making business related presentations. Apart from that, it is simple as you do not have to be a professional in it, to make the best use of this tool. You can turn data into graphs and charts with ease as a result.

CONS: Although the features are simple, a learning curve comes into place as there is a lot to go by. There are many features to get around with which means that you have to spend a lot of time learning how each feature is utilized. Also, for the part of customization, it is limited when you compare it with other similar tools. For example, when you use JavaScript, you will realize that it offers more customization, unlike Google Chart Tools.

PROS: It allows me to customize what I am working on at the moment. Since the software is compatible with multiple platforms, I can use the tool to edit and make changes without having to worry about the compatibility of the platform. Google Chart Tools aim in making the work easier. When it comes to customization of the interface to suit my needs, it offers a reliable platform and functionality for me to achieve that with minimum effort. In short, I got better than what I bargained for.

CONS: Although the tool offers reliable features for me to use and work with, the gallery does not have charts. When I first decided to use the tool, I thought that it would have multiple charts in its gallery for me to choose and use them to make presentations using those charts. However, I did not find that bearing in mind that Google is a reputable company. It would be better if they provided a wide range of charts in their gallery to help users be creative and customize their presentations the way they want while adding creativity to it.

PROS: I love the plethora of tables, charts, and graphs it's offering. Making use of this tool is seamless and easy to understand. CONS: For the most part, it's great. I don't favour the syntax in feeding data to graphs. At times, in trying come up with a configuration, you'll resort to digging further within the document to find it. I hate the fact that it doesn't have suport in downloading a graph image via a URL (like it did with the previous version). When making use of it to embed certain graphs within PDF-based report via wkthmltopdf, we hard a hard time carrying out Javascript via the library.

This capability was available in its previous version of Google Image Chart. The fact that the tool only works when you are online, it means that it is impossible to analyze or create charts when you are offline which is another drawback.

PROS: I love the wide range of charts found within thelibrary. The tool is very easy in terms of copying and pasting links. It offers with lively results. You don't have to be skilled to get around this tool. Anyone with some knowledge of Google tools can turn a huge load of data into a simplified and presentable version for readers.

CONS: The tool is really useful but I ran into some bugs just recently. This led to some false min or max value readings and somehow, I wasn't allowed to write up a summary beside the chart. Some countries failed to show up in the geo map. I sent a report of these encountered problems to customer support so they could address these problems right away.

It would be better if they included more features that allow it to handle complex data well.

PROS: We are living in a world where you cannot afford to sit and wait for things to happen. With the market being competitive, we have to understand and now the needs of our customers. This means analyzing the data we get on our website and making decisions based on that data. We have to prospect what our customers need and fill that gap. Google Chart Tools has come of age to help us achieve that without much hustle. It utilizes live data to create analyze data and create charts that can be easily understood. The good thing about it is that it is easy to use and helps us to save a lot of time in analyzing as the charts are created automatically once you load the data.

CONS: It is very difficult to say that a product is fine all the way and you cannot find anything wrong with it. However, we can say that about Google Chart Tools. Although we have not used it for long, and that could be the reason why, it has made our lives and business better. Also, it could be because we have not explored other options in the market for tools that provide similar functionality. Either way, we are happy with this tool and we are in it for the long time coming.

PROS: I love how there are different charts Google Charts is offering. It's refreshing to see new charts that I haven't about or come across. I can customize the chart according to different preferences. It's an awesome tool for use regardless of where and what you're working on.

CONS: I'm not sure if there's anything that I dislike with Google Charts. It appears it has everything I need when working with chart tools. I'm not sure if there's even a downside with it. Maybe its negative may be the fact that it's made from Google, not from another third party company.

PROS: With Google Chart tools, I have plenty of modules and designs to choose from. What makes Google Chart tools rich is the fact that it comes for free. It's easy to customize and I can design it just the way I want it to be. For making charts, it's flexible. No plugins are needed and it's capable of working across multiple browsers.

CONS: Even though Google Chart Tools can be customized, it doesn't have the customization functionality as tha seen in JavaScript. Another downer is that it didnt' offer a statistical processing that you'd come to expect. It works fine with simpler data. But when it comes to comprehensive statistics, it mightily struggled. With Google Chart Tools, I can't work offline.

PROS: If you are familiar with using Google tools, you can find your way around Google Chart Tools. It is a no brainer which means anyone can use these tools to produce charts and analyze any form of data. The fact that the codes are already there and all you have to do is copy and pate them on your website, means your work is taken care of. It contains a lot of templates and charts for you to use. To get started, you can choose which template of chart to utilize from the library, customize it to your liking and come up with an attractive chart from your live data.

CONS: The tool is reliable and offers the best charts and analysis tools any business can ask for. However, no application is perfect and for this case, it is no different. When I generated or produced charts and graphs for presentation purposes, it did not reveal clearly the maximum and minimum values. Also, it does not provide a field or space where you can write a summary beside the chart. It would be better if they provide such a capability for presentation purposes. The Geo map was not up to date as some countries were missing. I had to reach out to a customer support to help solve this issue.

PROS: It has everything you may need for your data analysis and presentation. The day I launched my website, I was able to quickly and easily create charts and present them on my website. With the JavaScript attached or plugged into my website, I was able to collect raw data and use the Google Chart Tools to analyze and create presentable charts. Since it is a Google product, you can expect the best and thus possible to rely on it for all your data analysis solutions. It is highly customizable which allows you to edit the charts the way you like. For those who have never used the product, there is a helpful guide that gives you a head start. It has multiple templates and charts to choose from whereby you do not need to code anything as this is already done for you, making things easier on your part.

CONS: There is much to go by when you are using this tool. You will find multiple features that will surely give you bliss when it comes to creating charts and analyzing the raw data on your website. However, there are a few things that I did not like or need improving to make this product stand out. It is limited in terms of the ability to track what you have included or added into your website. It does not provide a formula that helps you know certain items have already been added to the website and thus lacks control on that part. It would be better if they had a feature or functionality that allows you to mark or single out those items you have added to your website for ease of use.
