PROS: I really like the service that their customer support agents provide, as they were able to actually help me out with an issue our business was encountering. Setting up gift cards has been a thorn in our side for some time, and the agent was able to fix it for us.
CONS: Having said that their customer service was great in this particular instance, it was a bit of a slog to get to that point. I got different responses from different people, with some of them contradicting previous things I've been advised to do. It would really be a big improvement if they got everybody on the same page.
The least favorable review
PROS: Lavu is just what my small business needs. I get all the support I need when it comes to bookkeeping, stocks, and payment transactions. One is always supported in Lavu too—whether it’s from their customer support team or the community of Lavu users. I’ve always had help right at the start.
CONS: I need a little more out of the reports though. They do provide the numbers, but not in the digestible and easy to understand format that I would prefer. At this rate, I’d need to hire a consultant to translate all the data for me.

PROS: Lavu is highly versatile when it comes to customization. We can personalize tabs, categories, items, and prices, with so much ease. The platform is also accessible through the tablet, allowing us to manage operations wherever we want.
CONS: I think Lavu can further improve in reducing the transaction process. This is highly crucial since we are a bar that gets flooded during peak hours.

PROS: My five stars derive mostly from one customer support representative who ensured I fix my problems right then and there. He got out of his way just to address our concerns.
CONS: We had questions on the use of EMV which led to a lengthy, back and forth discussion with customer support but Jessie, one of Lavu's customer rep, stood out from the group. He went above and beyond his task. Instead of me doing the follow-up, he would give me detailed updates until we finally got concrete answers.

PROS: Performing management tasks is made simple with Lavu. The platform provides detailed sales data which is convertible from sheets to a more comprehensible report. Invoices are easily viewable. Updating item categories and prices is very intuitive. The same can be said in learning the app. We had a smooth process in helping our employees shift to using Lavu. And if we do have issues, there were minor but Lavu's customer representatives handled them with utmost urgency. And we highly appreciated that.
CONS: The chatbox was never helpful. Customer representatives still ended up calling me.

PROS: Lavu is a highly flexible platform that allows us to configure and add several components within the system, such as tabs and inventory. We can easily personalize the system as if it was made entirely for our operations.
CONS: There are still quite several difficulties, particularly on the onboarding process with the need for third-party technicians instead of something I can learn naturally on my own. But that's understandable with Lavu being a new player.

PROS: I’m a restaurant owner who’s always on-the-go. Lavu has given me a platform to oversee my business and update my data even when I’m not in the office. Launching it and getting it running was easy to do also. So far, I and my staff have been enjoying working with this tool.
CONS: I’m not sure if it is my internet provider or if it is Lavu’s system that causes delays in the processing of payments and the like. We’re looking into this though.

PROS: Among the things I like about the system are its user-friendliness, the ability to modify the look and feel of the screen, and the ability to view all open as well as closed checks and make an adjustment from my smartphone. 24-hour customer support is also commendable.

PROS: Lavu allows us to work remotely while doing important tasks at work. We can even do the job through mobile. Another laudable aspect of Lavu is the quality of its customer service. The chatbot on its website has been very effective in addressing our problems and where issues require more extensive communication, Lavu's customer representatives are readily available and always willing to help.
CONS: Operating the platform is different from various platforms in so many aspects so it takes some time to learn.

PROS: Lavu gives me a mixture of ease and reliability. It is both user-friendly and a multi-tooled solution at the same time, which I like. I use it to track employee time ins and outs, among other things. So far, I haven’t run into any major issues with them, but in the chances that I do experience glitches in the system, their customer support team are always willing to help.
CONS: They’ve recently rolled out a new version, and I’m still trying to get the hang of it. I still prefer the older version. I have a few suggestions for the developers also. One, I’d like to alter the view of the variables in my reports. Please lend the user more say in the reports. Two, can you please make it possible for users to physically set up a payment portal? This would be much more convenient for us.

PROS: Everything in this software is seamlessly integrated with each other. Modifying the menu is extremely easy that even the least tech-savvy user will learn how to adjust the items and prices in the menu and create new ones.
CONS: The installation is made by a third party contractor and it’s not so convenient. Also, the menu details are placed in the system by their own technicians. But hopefully, the vendor will be able to change it.

PROS: What I like most about the system is the ease of customization. I can easily remove or add an item or price in the menu. Everything can be tailored to fit the business feel, look, and requirements.
CONS: The level of customer support is not that incredible. I was only able to get two hours of tech support for free to help me set up the system. It would be nice and way better if they will provide user guide (that uses layman's term) to help the new user set up the software.

PROS: Lavu is our to-go source for making business transactions easy. Through its mobile capability, we are able to use it throughout the building while doing multiple business transactions. The customer support is amazing. We can connect with them directly through the site and they are prompt whenever we have questions and concerns.
CONS: Compared to other POS system, Lavu is a bit complicated and hard to learn in the beginning. But as time goes on, we understand how it works.

PROS: This POS system has it all. It is user-friendly, simple, and easy to use. This is a must-have solution for restaurant businesses.
CONS: The need to hit the five buttons to cash out a card makes the process longer. Also, I don’t like the popping up window appearing on the screen every time the cash out transaction is completed. It could have been better if they make transactions much faster than this.

PROS: Lavu has established a team of experts who will help us, but it’s nice that they let us do things on our own. The software allows us to set up images for menu items. We had placed our own design. We even utilize the system in a non-conventional way while waiting for our funds to be used to buy a registration. We’re amazed at how this software works.
CONS: I don’t like navigating around its web interface. I think its layout is a bit confusing and not so user-friendly. I could have appreciated it if they orient me about the program. I just don’t know if the problem is the program itself or me being disoriented. For me, the layout seems illogical. Hoping for some enhancement soon.

PROS: There are plenty of things we like about Lavu. It allows us to generate various reports to include our locations and lets us add some plug-ins to make tracking more specific. It enables us to export data on a spreadsheet and update menu items to suit on a particular location or season. Learning Lavu is easy as it comes with training videos and guides. Its interface is user-friendly. The customer service is excellent as well. They always have solutions and provide discounts on on-screen training and products. They even send us the session’s conversations so we can use them as a reference whenever we need assistance in the future. Invoices are also accessible on the front page.
CONS: The chatbox for customer support is so frustrating having to wait long without getting the right answer to a specific concern.

PROS: I really appreciate how this tool has made it easy for me to be on top of my business. This is because I can easily pull up any information that I may need, whether its comps, voids, itemized sales, timekeeping reports, and sales snapshots. I am never caught uninformed thanks to this.
CONS: One thing that would really take this to the next level is if it had a mobile version. It would be really convenient for me if I could use my mobile device to access the functions.

PROS: One thing that really stood out to me was how customizable this tool is, on top of being really easy to use. There was no steep learning curve, so implementing it was a breeze. Support staff was also very helpful and constantly available, so any issues I have are easily resolved.
CONS: Unfortunately, I didn't find this tool as intuitive when it comes to reports. It can be difficult to find the report that you need so this can definitely be improved.
