PROS: There are many good CRM programs out there. But we wanted an app to help manage our process and provide useful tools to make our sales reps more efficient and effective. Membrain provides the features we need to get the job done.
CONS: Reporting is not a customizable feature and there is limited option to see reports on stats. The vendor does not make new features available to subscribers of lower tier packages. It is understandable that support levels vary by membership, but Membrain should work like an operating system to make all features available for all subscribers. However, even the lower pricing packages are incredible.

PROS: We follow the Baseline Selling sales methodology. Membrain works in sync with our sales process and helps to spot areas that need more information and reminds us to ask more questions. Asking more questions is essential to learn more about your client.
CONS: We have a problem of companies getting duplicated when we input them into Membrain. Perhaps something is wrong with the search tags we use. This is the only drawback I can point out.

PROS: Membrain is easy to learn and use, and accessible using a browser. It gives me an extra edge as I can manage my prospects’ details better and use the notes to remember previous conversations before the next meeting.
CONS: I had a few dislikes to start with, but the vendor has resolved most of the issues. Their support team responds fast after I give them feedback.

PROS: Membrain offers the powerful feature of helping us to customize customer information and the sales process to show what is relevant to my prospecting style and industry.
CONS: The major drawback is limited interaction with other database solutions. This means Membrain is standalone and cannot access other sources of information. You can import information, but it’s a snapshot of uploaded data and doesn’t update with changes in the source database. Also, it lacks integration with the MS Outlook email system.

PROS: Membrain’s email integration feature is really useful. All you need to do is ensure the contact details are recorded in Membrain and then bcc the software to get the email activity recorded and stored.

PROS: Research shows that companies that use a structured sales process are more successful than those that don’t. However, most popular sales software solutions are sales accounting applications that are used to manage opportunities, contacts, and companies. Membrain stands out from this crowd as it lays emphasis on the sales process and does not sideline it as a minor issue.
CONS: There is no noticeable minus point, but since Membrain focuses on the sales process it cannot be used for customer support. But the advantage is it is better than using a run-of-the-mill generic solution as Membrain helps you maximize the returns from your sales campaigns.

PROS: Membrain stands out from other sales tracking apps because it includes education as a core functionality. Our team uses advice notifications and follow-up reminders to improve our processes and provide better support to our clients.
CONS: The software could present more reporting analytics options to get insight about our activities. We wish we could customize the Story Stream feature beyond the time limits that are preset. Similarly, some of the sales analysis reports also have preset time limits.

PROS: We use Membrain to customize the development of the sales pipeline with sales projects, prospects, contacts, companies, and sales process map. I haven’t started using all of the app’s features, but I can envisage profits already. The knowledgeable staff members at Membrain have helped me build a customized sales plan. Robert and Brenda McDonald have been particularly helpful to us.
CONS: Though the Membrain team helped us, it did take a long time to develop a customized sales plan. I recommend new users to make use of the three guided sessions they offer. The system lacks a powerful email feature and doesn’t seem to integrate with many other apps. Plus, it lacks a project management solution to follow up on completed projects.
