PROS: Segment’s data integration tool is extremely convenient. Adding and exploring data sources to test what best fit your needs is easy with this platform.
CONS: I am very satisfied with this product so far. It has met all my expectations.

PROS: Aside from integrating almost every tool out there, the API, on its own, shows the best in tracking practices. Server and client side tracking tools presence guarantees that collected data is done to the nearest source. Reliability has been really good. Customer support is the best and bugs are minimal. Pricing is considered fair for its value.
CONS: It'd be a bonus if there was some kind of a pre-installed process that offers client-side only integrations as well as data from the side of the server. The price tag for Warehouses isn't as reasonable as expected. It'd be a lot nicer if a tool-by-tool off of Segment is available. With some tools becoming a bit mature and it's a necessity to have advanced features, it's not as favourable to multiplex via Segment.

PROS: Segment has a lot of impressive features. I like the debug console feature because it allows me to access, review, control, and correct errors on my data in real-time. Analytics.js is another feature of this platform that I like. It helps eliminate the errors in the flow of data by eliminating duplicate codes and feeding the same event to all your analytical platforms.
CONS: We had some trouble debugging errors concerning custom events. There were some errors with the documentation feature as well.

PROS: It provides a quick and easy way to plug any analytics tool into any JavaScript application. The people in my company has different application preferences, but with segment everybody's happy. They still get to use their preferred applications while enjoying greater capabilities it provides.
CONS: The analytics.js doesn't work with react native. There is also no easy way to filter events from segment's UI. If you want certain events to only go to certain sources, you need to implement that in your code.

PROS: Each of the metric service included functions reasonably for certain things. You might not have a clue which suits you best from the start or when you're measuring anything new. This is ideal when you're already experienced with metrics and refuse to go to three divided calls in a single event. Ideal to test if your analytics function with their debug debug functionality.
CONS: Nothing really. I've been using this tool for a long time and I've yet to say anything bad about it. I highly recommend this to everyone.

PROS: In addition to integrating with nearly every third-party tool imaginable, Segment's API reflects best practices in tracking. The presence of both server and client side tracking tools ensures that data is always collected as close to the source as possible. Support is top notch and reliability has been superb. Price is also generally fair, considering how much value it provides to our business.
CONS: It would be nice if there was a built-in mechanism to provide client-side only integrations (such as Facebook ads) data from the server-side. Also, pricing for warehouses offering is less reasonable. Would be nice if there was a more graceful tool-by-tool whihc would help in any transition to be made to Segment.

PROS: The data we gather from multiple tools through integration with Segment has helped us make more informed decisions as a company. Its features like personas, protocols, and computed traits, among others, made this possible.
CONS: We encountered some technical issues while setting up computed traits but these issues were due to user error for the most part.

PROS: It's really simple and swift for plugging to just about any analytics tools in any JavaScript app. Our company's marketing department are into mixpanel. Our developers like keen.io. Some are content with KISSmetriccs, but with Segement, everyone is happy and content.
CONS: Two of the biggest gripes involved analytics.js not functioning with the react negative. The other is not having a convenient approach in filtering events from UI's segment. If you desire specific events to only head for certain sources, you'll need to implement that within your code.

PROS: Segment's single integration allows you to pipe your data pretty much anywhere you want. It keeps the codebase organized and uncluttered and lets developers focus on building features. They also have some cool features like self-hosted data warehouses that can be pretty powerful too.
CONS: I believe it's not really necessary unless you're trying to remove all implementation decisions away from engineers when building an ETL pipeline. Also, unless you really want to push your data to a ton of places (which you probably shouldn't care about), then there's no reason to use it. Using it also restrains you to its implementation and you don't always get to leverage more of its advanced integration features.

PROS: I love Segment's infinite flexibility. Instead of going to your developer every time you want a new tool installed, new tools can easily be added as your needs scale. Its ability to measure events in analytics tools and being able to trigger marketing automation workflows from the same events is powerful. Thus, marketing work can focus on what happens and fine tune the funnel without the involvement of too many development resources.
CONS: I wish the pricing was based more on usage rather than tiers. In some instances, the software upgrade to a higher tier will cost more than the integration itself. Other than that, there are no major issues to report on the software itself.
A great tool for integration with just about any crm/analytics tool in the market.

PROS: Segment is an awesome tool whenever you're thinking of monitoring anything on your site via third party services. Set up is really easy. It's reliable and robust. Its UI is easy to look at and the debugger makes things a lot simpler to see if things are functioning well in your side. Their latest integration with Postgres or Amazon Redshift as a Data Warehouse appears to be very promising indeed!
CONS: So far, there's nothing that I don't favour. I've yet to contact their customer support for any problems. So basically, there's nothing to comment.
