Seismic Review

PROS: Seismic is a complete and ever-changing presentation platform that will transform your sales process. On-boarding is hard to beat and the staff makes an effort to understand your business needs first to enable a proper implementation path.

CONS: Nothing to say here; they continue to deliver new and unique ways of managing data and presenting it.

PROS: As someone who creates a lot of presentations for a variety of different audiences, Seismic lets me very easily update numbers in templates that I created, saving me time I would have spent typing numbers or copying and pasting.

CONS: This could be chalked up to ignorance, but I would love to be able to update straight into charts.

PROS: Seismic has been an enabler that helps in achieving the required quota and be competitive in front of customer decision makers. The system is self-intuitive to end users and made me look like a rock star.

CONS: We are now paying for the fact that what we have launched is difficult to maintain. But it was our fault.

PROS: The platform offers so much flexibility for document storage, customization, and delivery. It has allowed us to really dream big with our solutions so we can help our associates do their jobs more efficiently.

CONS: The admin tools used to create customized documents could use a little polishing as I will occasionally run into unintelligible error messages and/or the application will freeze and crash resulting in some lost work.

PROS: Seismic allows me to have instant access to customized sales pitches for all of my clients. This has cut down my pre-call planning and the amount of documents that I carry and created a greater level of compliance across my business. It changed the way that I do business and given me the time to focus more on my clients.

CONS: It can be unreliable at times. The server goes down and you must have a strong internet access to generate a pitch.

PROS: With Seismic, I get access to up-to-date collateral, the ability to repurpose it easily and share it with prospects and clients. Template wizards that make it easy to build agendas, presentations and proposals, while saving a lot of time doing search. The material you need is quickly accessible and easy to navigate

CONS: The preview screens for assembling content are so small that it is heard to see what you are picking to build a proposal or presentation. Also, the live send function does not have the ability to automatically include your signature.

PROS: I like that the pages and books are organized in a manner that allows the user to see which pages are shared and which are not. I also like how it minimizes the work I usually do before when updating or building presentation books.

CONS: There are still bugs that need to be worked out. Page numbers, bolding/non-bolding, and Seismic freezing seem to be the most prevalent issues though they just crop up once in a while.

PROS: I love Seismic's ability to customize materials at a very detailed level but still easy to use. Also, the Salesforce integration is a huge plus. It provides great value for our sales and marketing team.

CONS: It took us a long time to get everything sorted out. I would have appreciated a little bit more help to get us up and running faster.

PROS: Seismic is a great tool for hosting sales material. It's very easy to use and powerful and it has helped me get organized with my files and make my life so much easier.

CONS: No dislikes to point out at the moment.

PROS: Seismic works with you as it works on the entire implementation from start to finish, allowing you to focus on other important things. Its ease of implementation has been key to our firm's onboarding of this solution.

CONS: The coding is complex, and although we have not had an issue yet, I have concerns about how to address difficult new requirements if and when they arise.
