PROS: As DCAA compliant system provides great options that can be foun GCM, CostPoint, Deltek’s and other. It has robust reporting capabilities, timesheet system, alerts, automatic emailed reports and etc. Hosted system for the startups is very affordable, and offers role-based security, subcontractor logins. The support team is responsive and knowledgeable, and provides wonderful management team. d within other expensive systems like
CONS: The timesheet can be used on mobile device as well, but it is very complicate.

PROS: The reporting features and customizable dashboards are really helpful. We keep track of the projects and we know on what projects members have to work upon and what billable hours are on specific project. We can easily create timesheets and this is because of Unanet’s interface that is simple and understandable, and we are able to avoid some unnecessary confusions when submitting the timesheets. My project team use the alert feature so they can know about the percentage of the time that is allocated for each project and how much time is consumed.
CONS: The software doesn’t provide Gantt charts for PM. Also, there are lots of buttons on the screen and it is difficult to find the button you really need instantly.

PROS: Unanet allows me to keep all my data in one place. All our PM’s, Accounting, Contracts and Executives are able to work from same data in real time. Thus, we reduce errors and reconciliations in the process. We use the pm reporting and provides simple style to the organization. We simply love the monthly Close process and doesn’t take so much time.
CONS: I needed to spend much time in order to learn how to use its features and reports. The system pulls great amount and types of reports into more refined results. But, this is not Unanet’s fault, I should’ve spent more time on learning the product. Once you learn how to use it is easy than other systems.

PROS: Unanet allows us to keep track and report data in real time and take some appropriate actions. The billing process is easy to do, month-end closing can be done in few steps. I am able to open multiple tabs on a computer so I can review the past transactions. Our project managers use the project alerts in order to monitor the funding. We are able to attach various file types to expense reports. The export and payroll file process is easy to set up. We don’t use spreadsheets any more. Also, the Unanet has rich Unanet Knowledge Center that is really useful for our users.
CONS: We want to see cashflow statement. We need to run and save report on the last day of the month so we can tie to our month end balance sheet. We have found some issues in Billing that have an impact on T&M invoices. Also, I cannot export some of the reports to a pdf or excel file. But, the Unanet consultants helped us to figure out and find solutions for all these issues.

PROS: Unanet is robust and intuitive, it has multiple reports and modification of existing reports and creation of new ones. The team behind this product is always open for new ideas, suggestions and feedback, and they always make changes in order to improve its functionality. We needed some additional reports within the basic reports and they immediately provide the reports in the following version. Every new version comes with detailed notes and classes so you can have great knowledge of new features and changes. When we started with Unanet, I asked for help and they walked me through various features of the product and answered all my questions.
CONS: I had dislikes about my company but not about the product. My company put some limits and I couldn’t use all the reports and data I need so I can do my job as Program Manager. I couldn’t use this product to its fullest and I know that Unanet easily provides every piece of information I would need for my work.

PROS: We have great experience with Unanet, we use it as a support for DCAA auditable accounting and financial practice. It’s easy to set up and the configuration is amazing. We are able to create our own company policies and procedures. The interface is clear, intuitive and well designed. It allows us to configure user roles for every member from the timesheet or expense user to CFO or even Controller that reviews the whole financial operation. We are able to export financial data to the CSV files and to import them within payroll and accounting systems. It’s affordable and easy to set up an operation. The other good thing about unanet is that grows along with our business and we are able to implement as much or as little as we want for our finance and accounting operations.
CONS: I don’t have nothing to dislike about this software.
