WebFOCUS Review

PROS: I know that our department is making a difference in society by ensuring that our track record remains impressive. Our performance can easily be viewed in the dashboard, making it easy to pinpoint our successes and challenges.

CONS: Everyone enjoys using the platform because it keeps them aware of their performance. It keeps employees on top of their game.

PROS: It’s one of the most useful software that we have in the company. We cannot function well without the help of our reports. With WebFOCUS, you do not have to worry about spending hours just to extract your numbers because it can accomplish pretty much all kinds of reports from scratch.

CONS: It would be best if you warmed up to WebFOCUS before you can appreciate it fully. I have to admit that I encountered some difficulties in terms of navigation. Also, the interface needs some work done by editing some of its content and uploading new ones to attract more people to keep using it.

PROS: WebFOCUS is such a cool platform to work with. I love its colorful graphs, charts, and smart maps that are easy to understand. Not all apps can give this kind of performance; that is why I’m sticking to this product as long as I’m satisfied.

CONS: I’ve been using WebFOCUS for a few months only and I can say that my experience has been nothing but positive. Any minor issues are being dealt with ASAP.

PROS: We have always been struggling to keep track of participants every time that we plan a significant event. The same thing goes with payments and donations. We use to do it using an excel file, which creates room for errors, so we decided to look for a system that caters to all of our requests. I am glad that we found Wild Apricot because we are delighted with the platform.

CONS: The app comes with certain limitations in terms of indocument analytics, which is something that I don't expect at all. I've always been looking forward to creating a wide range of reports from different data sources. However, it's not that easy to achieve because creating these reports is quite complicated. I still have to do a lot of things like fixing the data source before I can come up with sold reports.

PROS: WebFOCUS is known to provide reporting materials to meet every company's needs. I love that the company is supportive of its clients that it has offered us a detailed training of the product. Also, there are different forums or local communities that you can turn to whenever you need help with how the software works. Also, WebForum is so flexible that integration with 3rd party apps is not a significant issue at all. I feel secure using this product because I know that I can always rely on their CS team to help me out.

CONS: Sometimes you’re in the middle of building reports for the department when the system would freeze and, eventually, cash. This means that your work would be deleted from the system, leaving you with no choice but to start from scratch. Also, they need to work on their programming issues because it takes time for web pages to recognize and respond to a specific command. This happened to me several times, and it leaves me feeling frustrated. I realized that I cannot fully maximize the software because I still have no idea how to use some of its features.

PROS: The upgrades and new features that they introduce are something that I look forward to. WebFOCUS is something that I rely on 100% for my reports, knowledge that guides me into making the right choices every day.

CONS: I must get an experienced developer to help me maintain the software at all times. Upgrades are very common, so I need someone knowledgeable enough to ensure that we won't encounter any complex issues whenever we use the system.

PROS: WebFOCUS has helped us increase and monitor our performance by creating these powerful reports that are easy to analyze. They are doing a great job of extracting essential information from the data source, which I appreciate.

CONS: They should find a way to give users more flexibility to customize and personalize reports. I usually create charts to lay out the business's progress, so it would be nice if we could infuse more creativity in the reports.

PROS: It didn’t take me long to figure out how WebFOCUS works. I was amazed by its capability to come up with a series of reports in less than an hour. I’ve never seen an app that works that fast. I can also adjust the settings and the format to cater to individual requests that are made by our clients.

CONS: Inconsistencies when it comes to stability. I'm not too fond of it when the entire platform freezes and eventually crashes. I would end up restarting the PC and reopen the plat. But the good news is that they can back up existing files, so there's no need to start from scratch.

PROS: The product works fast, and it can connect with other sources of data. I like it so much because it can give me accurate reports whenever I need it.

CONS: Needs to work on its coding issues. It doesn’t happen all the time, but it can somehow affect our productivity. Other features are quite challenging to understand, but you can benefit from the system.

PROS: This software is one of a kind because it comes with an Iway Feature that can retrieve data from various sites and links. It's instrumental on our end because we use multiple reporting to collate information. Now we only use one app, which is WebFOCUS, to build all of our reports from scratch.

CONS: They need to be more consistent when it comes to the appearance of their UI. I have noticed that the UI keeps on changing for the past few years, and it can get confusing to users who are not familiar with the system. The current UI is okay, and I suggest that they stick to it permanently and implement upgrades only if necessary.

PROS: If your job requires you do research and client presentations, I think that WebFOCUS is the perfect platform for you. It can help you generate the reports that you need in no time. Plus, it gives you powerful insights that will guide you into making better choices.

CONS: I have advised my employees to stop comparing WebFOCUS to other products. We have been using another platform before the switch, and there is a big difference in accuracy and performance.

PROS: I appreciate using IBI products from the very beginning. One of my favorites is WebFOCUS because of its report building features, which is easy to understand. I can say that I have made a lot of wise decisions by simply using this product. I am happy to share that our production has increased by as much as 200% for the last six months, which is a remarkable achievement for the entire organization.

CONS: If you want to maximize WebFOCUS as the primary business platform, you need to be extra patient when it comes to learning the program. Yes, it's easy to use, but there's so much to comprehend. The good thing is that once you have become familiar, you can build and generate any reports you need.

PROS: It wasn’t too hard for my staff and me to learn how to use WebFOCUS. We can create and customize any reports without the need to undergo the rigorous process of pulling up, downloading, and collating data from multiple sources (which we do currently have). Now we are trying to come up with ways on how to expedite and improve some of our current processes. That includes changing our Business Intelligence platform by switching to WebFOCUS. The feedback coming from most of the employees was very overwhelming and heartwarming at the same time. WebFOCUS is so user friendly that it doesn’t take for you to be a tech genius to figures things out and how to make significant changes in the application. There is a team behind this BI that you can always count on for any significant challenges that you may encounter. I want to continue working using WebFOCUS because it makes reporting more reliable and trustworthy.

CONS: Our company has been using WebFOCUS BI for more than a year already, and I have noticed that it is quite high maintenance to deal with. Adding a couple of upgrades as per client requests is somehow necessary, but it comes with a price. Maybe they can work on adjusting the costs to entice the majority of their clients to continue doing business with them.

PROS: I love that WebFOCUS can extract data from the primary source and create level reports for the entire university. It has one of the best dashboards that I’ve ever seen, and I love how it presents its data where the majority of the people can easily interpret what goes behind the numbers. They can create a variety of reports that consist of graphs, pies, and charts that are more attractive and comprehensive as compared to what other platforms can do.

CONS: Learning everything about the software takes time, and more hands-on experience is required. Some features are pretty user friendly, but some are quite complex to understand in just one sitting. It could provide better enhancements on its user interface because I find it quite outdated already. But I’m happy because the developer is always trying to come up with something to make sure that WebFOCUS remains competitive.
