Acquia DAM Review

PROS: Widen Collective is easy to use solution it has easy set up and you can easily make changes. We have integrated with Box and it works fantastic. We look forward to integrate it to Salesforce and we believe this will work great as well.

CONS: The insights can be more robust and versatile. Also, they could add more color coding options for Asset Groups.

PROS: It allows me to easily organize assets and to add details to the assets. I personally use filters when searching for them. I like that I can add own categories and metadata types so i can customize the sit to our company’s needs.

CONS: I don’t have dislikes about it.

PROS: Widen UI is user friendly and with little training I managed to deliver quick results for each of my early adopters. The DAM searches are quick and highly efficient. With Widen DAM we don’t have troubles with sharing single-source assets.

CONS: I need an option to check out and lock an asset for editing and to check it back again.

PROS: Widen has wonderful customer service, they are open to feedback and attentive to our needs, they are quick to respond and always willing to assit us. I like that they constantly improves the system they make the searching easier. It reminds us to use better web browsers and we avoided Internet Explorer make Chrome available to our employees. We found the keyword feature extremely helpful and it helps us to be more organize.

CONS: I don’t have issues with this solution. When I can’t find something it is mostly because one of our employees has uploaded the file in wrong place.

PROS: I like that this tool is functional on many levels. Its customer service is wonderful and extremely helpful they are always ready to assist with any problem or question. I feel like we learn and grow even more since we start using it. We continually look for imporvements within the organization.

CONS: Whenever I have an issue with the product or lack with some feature I’d tell their customer service and they will provide me with the solution in less time.

PROS: I like that with this solution we can organize and categorize huge amount of files into folders, collections and by metadata. We can easily search for items or reduce the collection as long as we have organize the files when they were all uploaded. When we upload the file on a Widen it automatically updates the file that’s been shared with others.

CONS: It has some bugs, it shows an error uploading a file and later the file is being uploaded but it is duplicate or sometimes it won’t upload it at all, this makes it confusing.

PROS: Widen software offers detailed and useful features without changing various styles of workflow. We even incorporated Collective as a training tool for newbies as a subject of metadata and archival and retrieval of content in general. We can easily visualize references and to keep track of what’s going in to the making of image whether it is custom mapping or core EXIF data.

CONS: Sometimes rollout features take longer but I believe that this is not Widen’s fault because they constantly improve the system.

PROS: With Widen we can keep track of all assets instead of spreading them out in a shared file system. It offers method for distributing images, collateral and etc to our team members and controling the available assets. When the campaign is over we can remove it from the site instead of leaving there and having visitors wonder about the assets and whether it is current or not.

CONS: When it comes to pulling assets down it can be really comolicated because it requires login into the website, they could make it more simple like DropBox or other control systems.
