The company is owned by the Endurance International Group which owns numerous hosting brands. EasyCGI was founded in 1996. I have been a customer of EasyCGI for over 10 years. Things were smooth at first with no real trouble at all, but over the last couple of years the level of service has deteriorated.
About 2 years ago one of their sales people called me and convinced me to pay for a longer term hosting package. I believe it was for 4 or 5 years. That was a huge mistake.
My website has been inoperative for about 12% of the time in 2017 and technical support seems to have no clue as to how to make things stable again.
Just yesterday (9/15/17) I decided to cancel my hosting and web support plans with EasyCGI. I asked for a refund for the remaining 2+ years on my hosting plan.
I was told NO REFUNDS. You heard that right. NO REFUNDS.
I could understand that if I had simply changed my mind. But my reason for cancellation is based upon their level of service being so poor that it is unusable. So, I am out about 400 bucks that I believe I am rightly owed.
Stay away.

Overall impression
I wish there is a MINUS Star Option for Easycgi crap Actually HARDcgi. My all sites are down now, I am using their services since 2009. They was good but now they are useless, always down and showing "Directory Listing Denied This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed". My websites rankings are effected day by day because of easycgi issues.
Secondly my sites were affected by malware and they are not taking responsibility for it, they suggest me to buy sitelock software from them to protect my websites. Few days back they blocked my account and closed all my websites because of malware, they even did not allow me to download the infected files so I can remove the malware which is actually their security fault. They down my sites for 7 days. Their support team is good and polite. But they always said that they are forwarding my issue to their senior technical support.
They charge $150 for unlimited windows hosting, prices are affordable but worth nothing when your hosting is DOWN.
If you want to host your website then easycgi (HARDcgi) is the hell for your websites.
If there is a option to put some screenshots then I will show you guys how many time I contacted them for resolving my issue in a month.
