PROS: Asana helps us to keep our marketing team organized. The interface is easy, intuitive and it offers great board style layouts. I really like the hidden features like celebration unicorns and some background themes, they make the whole work fun. It allows us to create, assign and complete the marketing projects fast and easily. We are more productive and focused on our goals. Additionally, this is great tool for organizing onboarding activities for newbies and to streamline the process.

CONS: I would like to switch projects between the list layout and the board layout.

PROS: We had a positive experience when we were using Asana to implement a web application project for a financial services firm. The app is simple and offers projects and tasks mainly. It is very simple to enter a task and share it with your team members. Plus, you can reference other tasks located in the app. I recommend Asana as it is a good tool for project management. You can also consider Pivotal Tracker, Trello, and Basecamp. If you wish to go with Asana, take some time out in the beginning to logically divide projects and tasks. This will help to shorten your lists in the long run and make them easy to manage.

CONS: Asana forces the paradigm of task management on users. In some situations, the app’s mold may not quite suit the purpose. For example, if you wish a team to handle a high-level task, you have to find a specific guy to assign the task to. If there is no project lead, you have to go by guess work. I hope Asana introduces the ability to assign tasks to a team and allow the manager of the team or individuals in it to delegate the tasks as necessary.

PROS: Asana is great tool for assigning tasks and due dates. There are great drag-and-drop features and fun interfaces with kind of “rewards” for every completed task. Through the dashboard you can overview the task history. It has great color scheme with more customizable features. It allows us to assign tasks for multiple projects. I also love the template feature to copy tasks.

CONS: I don’t like that I cannot assign one task to multiple people. Also, I found it hard to move subtasks out a level especially to a level that is not the main project.

CONS: I don’t have dislikes about Asana, I just want to see more features for tracing the number of multiple projects and various team members.

PROS: Asana gives me notifications every time a project is updated, if there are many users who work at the same time, asana makes it easier for me to organize and improve productivity. With a new and easy-to-use interface, each tool is designed for users to maximize the scope of their work. Asana is also available for monitoring each project through our cell phone, so different users will be aware of the project thanks to notifications.

CONS: Asana is an excellent software that has helped our organization improve productivity when there are many users in the same project, in the time we have using asana, we have not found anything negative to say about it.

PROS: The good thing is that Asana provides great project management tools in tile and list formats. I always prefer the list format for my work. We are able to track the progress at any time, to take a look at the projects and to finish the tasks on time and on-budget. Project management for website design projects has never been easier with Asana.

CONS: The interface can be confusing from time to time. It provides lot of capabilities but it can be difficult to figure out what kind of formats and configurations work best for us.

PROS: Asana allows me to easily organize projects and to assign tasks to my team. I love that I’m always on the top of all of the projects and to keep track of every completed task. This is great tool because it lets us know what is completed and what needs to be done.

CONS: I’m using this tool 1 year from now but I still find difficult to keep track of the subtasks and we don’t know how to move “lifestages” without moving the whole project to the next phase.
