PROS: Clio allows me to reassign cases to lawyers who have a lighter workload. This ensures that everyone on the team is working on the same number of instances and remain productive. I could sync this app with my email account, a laptop to continue working at home, or business trips. It's a good thing that I can maximize this app as often possible, and it has been instrumental in creating case drafts.
CONS: I expect Clio to work smoothly on most occasions, but unfortunately, this has not been the case for the past few months. Also, I hope that they could add a feature for all completed tasks so I can quickly check the amount of pending workload left in our bucket. Also, its easier to determine our daily productivity as a team.

PROS: Name recognition, nice colors, snappy time keeper, easy to launch with username and password, company is great at promoting itself but not really offering much of substance or use to me in my law practice. The review page is neat looking but REQUIRES a user to say at least 300 characters of nice things about the company.
CONS: Not a very useful platform for my law practice and the company refused to waive the auto-renewal feature of the license ($600/year) despite my attempt to cancel via a direct email to them. I understand their policy of requiring cancellations to be made via online to avoid unauthorized cancellations, but to use that as a justification for keeping my $600 when I wasn't using their product at all, coupled with the fact that there was no dispute that I was in fact the one who emailed them to cancel, strikes me as another case of auto-renew money grab.

PROS: One of the things that I always look forward to at the beginning of my working day is logging in to Clio. It comes with a set of features that I can rely on to get any job done. Managing my efficiency and keeping track of my schedules will no longer be a problem from now on.
CONS: They could probably work on improving their collaboration features with other apps. I feel that Clio is not yet ready to take the leap, but some things could improve the overall user experience. For instance, sending emails should be easier with Clio by not requiring us to type in the address manually because it defeats the purpose of sending safe messages.
Helps us consolidate legal issues into a simplified platform of our choice.

PROS: I do not regret investing in Clio because it's excellent in so many things. Now it's easy to store documents, case presentations, legal contracts, and even witness testimonials. Rather than keeping printed copies lying around in the office, which is considered a breach of confidentiality. With Clio, you can store all of this information into the cloud-based app and retrieve them anytime you want.
CONS: Clio may have some of the features that we need to make our jobs easier, but it also doesn’t have some of the things we are looking for. To make sure that all of our “work needs” are being covered, we need to invest in other 3rd party apps to help us collect payments faster and draft legal documents the way we want it to be. Searching for something that you need may take some time to accomplish because it does not recognize keywords.
A wise choice for a start-up law firms.

PROS: We try to maximize the use of each tab daily to streamline the majority of our tasks and have more time to take on more cases. Clio allows us to track our productivity online, send bills online, and collect payments online, making a big difference for us. We also have a way to check our running performance and a support team from Clio, who can always back us up in times of need.
CONS: The cost of the product may be too high for some people. But for me, it is worth it because of the features that you can use to make your work more straightforward.

PROS: This app works best for my law practice because it helps me consolidate all my business matters into one platform. With Clio, I can easily keep track of our firm's finances, from tracking billable hours to accounts payable, making my job a lot easier to handle. With thins pandemic scare, I thought that my practice would take a big hit and lose a lot of revenue. But the good news is that Clio was able to help me by providing significant discounts to help me get by during these challenging days. Also, with CLIO, I can see my practice's status even if I am away from the office. By installing the app's mobile version, I can do almost anything from reporting, billing, scheduling, and so much more. With Clio, I feel secure in handling all my trust accounts without the fear of going against any of the existing rules and regulations.
CONS: It would be great to add a feature to view the number of bill write-offs that I provide for my clients. Currently, there is no specific feature for that purpose, so I would have to track it manually in my logbook. With this, I can include it in my accounting whenever I reconcile my financial records. There are some features that I don’t use that much, but I’ll do my best to maximize the app more.
Gives an outstanding performance for tracking billable hours.

PROS: It’s intuitive and very user friendly. You don’t need to have special skills and knowledge to figure out how to use the app. Should you need help, you can always look for online tutorials and FAQ’s which can be found via the internet.
CONS: We have been using another app for our billable hours before using Clio. The process of integration was kind of slow and messy. So we had to watch out for errors and make sure to have it fixed manually. It took us a week to get over this issue, but now things are better, and no further problems have arisen since then.
Clio is a game-changer in so many ways.

PROS: People love this app because of its wide array of features that can make any law practice work as simple and straightforward as possible. Everyone in my team is trained on using Clio, and each one has access to the app. It keeps my lawyers on top of their game by bringing in more clients they can handle. We bill our clients accurately and on time, thus securing our revenue wisely.
CONS: Clio still has the same kind of problem over the past few years, which is integration issues. I thought that things would start going smoothly in this department, but unfortunately, more amount of work needs to be done.

PROS: Working with Clio makes things better and lighter, not just for me but also for my fellow lawyers. I did not have any significant issues transitioning to Clio from the app I’ve been using from my previous job. With Clio, you can always rely on support by simply calling their hotline or visiting their website. They offer essential troubleshooting tips that can help me get through system issues that I get to experience once in a while. This app allows me to explore more opportunities in my current practice, including taking in more cases and creating a better reputation within the law community.
CONS: It has been almost ten years when I first decided to acquire Clio. I have to admit that the “onboarding process” has not been smooth sailing. I have to overcome many rough spots before I became somewhat comfortable with how the platform works. I found out that hiring a product expert would help me understand how Clio works and how it can be an advantage. I took my sweet time into learning the ins and outs of the platform. After some time, I started reaping all the benefits of my hard work and patience. I think that my efficiency rate has improved by 200% from the time I had Clio, and from there on, things have never been the same for me. Also, I would like to point out my challenges when it comes to collecting payments. Unfortunately, I have a handful of clients who could not afford to pay a deposit or a trust balance into their account. So what they do is pay me directly through another app, which will require them to pay an extra three percent charge, which could be a steep amount for some people.
My workload is now more manageable that’s all because of Clio.

PROS: I use Clio as a replacement for my planner by organizing my daily and weekly schedules right into the app. I also use this to communicate with my clients and colleagues to keep track of the case status easily. Clio also keeps me aware of my running billable hours, which is very important because we all have goals to meet. I make sure that I am either within or exceeding targets.
CONS: You need to click the refresh button every time you log in to your billable hours' tracker. The same thing should be done in the mobile version to ensure accuracy on our end. It can be a little bit tasking, but it does not bother me that much.

PROS: I think that there is no need to hire a billing specialist to help you manage your invoices because you can train all of your employees to use Clio and do it themselves. I encourage my lawyers to be mindful of their billable hours by tracking them consistently through Clio. That way, they also have accountability when it comes to collecting payments and giving discounts to your clients. Lastly, there is no need to worry about making mistakes because Clio is designed in such a way that it makes it easy to rectify records.
CONS: Setting up the entire platform is a bit of a tricky task for me. I had to call tech support to seek guidance on the next steps that I should take. I made some mistakes, but I could get over them after learning my lesson the hard way.
Clio has proven its worth to be the best app for legal management.

PROS: Clio provides me an easier way to accomplish my deliverables. Saves me time by allowing me to create and use templates for creating contracts and other legal documents. Now I have more time to do research and follow up on my old cases.
CONS: It should add another tab for all closed cases to not be mixed up with our current or active ones. Sometimes it takes time to go through the list of documents in the database. So I’d instead segregate files according to its status to save more time. Also, it cannot send email schedule reminders, which is a big deal to our lawyers.
We mainly use Clio to keep our files well organized and our finances in check.

PROS: Rather than giving my accountant a hard time when it comes to managing our books and ledgers, I decided to shift to Clio instead. Ever since we had this app, my staff no longer needs to work overtime to deliver manual invoices to our clients because Clio does the work on their behalf. Also, collecting our payables via LawPay has been a smooth and hassle-free experience for my clients since they have to input their card information on the link and complete the transaction.
CONS: There is still more room for the product to improve its service to its clients. Currently, I’m still having some issues linking Clio with our current CRM.

PROS: One of the things that I like about this app is the user interface. Everything that I need can be found on the dashboards right after logging into the application. It also gives me a heads up on our running metrics so my staff can I can work on improving our performance and exceeding our goals.
CONS: There are some things that I need Clio could not provide. I would not like to go into specifics, but I already brought up this issue with their support team. What’s good is that they always do something to compensate for their shortcomings, which turns out okay.
I was able to implement a lot of significant changes in my practice with the help of Clio.

PROS: It takes good care of the admin tasks in the firm. With Clio, all tasks have been simplified because we only log in to a single app where you view everything you need to get the job done. I’m not worried about experiencing system glitches as long as the support team can back me up even during the wee hours of the morning.
CONS: So far, so good. Clio is credible enough since it has been exceeding our expectations.

PROS: One thing that Clio is known for is the straightforward layout that makes it easily adaptable to all users. I love how they consistently work on upgrading their features. Law firms like us can continue to manage our business without compromising the quality of service that we provide to our clients. We can create our very own reports, analyze our statistics, and improve our revenue by just relying on one single application.
CONS: Although I cannot deny that Clio has been a real game-changer to our team ever since we started using it years ago, I still would like to point out some things that they can improve. A month ago, we decided to improve our workflow by adding Lexicata into our practice. We were hoping that the integration process would move forward without a hitch, but we are very wrong. It terms of compatibility, I would give Clio a failing score because we had more challenges in organizing our document and syncing our calendars, which resulted in a bigger headache that each of our staff had to deal with. Secondly, I would like Clio to improve their “Accounts” features by giving us accurate figures for our finances as other legal practice apps can. Sometimes I cannot help but compare its characteristics from other products because I feel somehow frustrated with the results. As a paying customer, I expect a lot from Clio, and that includes generating inaccurate figures on a day to day basis.

PROS: I like that you can keep each client separate and also each case. This is useful because a few clients have multiple cases. Plus, you can use different methods of contact information. The customer support is prompt and responsive, and quickly resolved a couple of issues I had with the system.
CONS: There are a few drawbacks. I am not able customize fields in many areas. Things get deleted in the calendar and they disappear after that. The billing feature is strange. You have to make the payment for one bill and then move onto the next. This means if you have two bills of $100 and $300 for a single client, and they make a payment of $400, you have to post it as two payments, one for the $100 bill and the other for the $300 bill. This makes the clients uncomfortable when they don’t see any payments of $400 in the system. Plus, it forces us to maintain documentation in notes which takes up our time.
