Cyfe Review

PROS: You will love their dashboard! The customization level is so advanced, that you get to modify every detail from background and appearances to data display! Large part of your burden is taken away, as you get to provide customers with login credentials to check data for themselves. Integrated with almost every popular system, but has advanced APIs for other ones too. Finally, it is really pocket friendly!

CONS: I am pleased with their integration features so far, but I think they could provide far more options. For what I know, they're already working on it, so I wouldn't be that concerned about it.

PROS: What is really impressive about Cyfe is its simplicity, I'd never bet for that with such a powerful program in hands. It displays all data in one place, and connects quite admirably with popular networks. You log in, and create robust dashboards with only few clicks, yet ou get to manage all pages under your adminstration. There is also an inbuilt functionality for recreating dashboards and other widgets for every account, and I believe that's exactly the feature that makes it unique on the market.

CONS: I might be overreacting, but I think Cyfe's insight is basic and sometimes restricted. You do get to see critical metrics in the end, but those are still basic vanity numbers, and some companies need more than that. Calculating less common metrics is possible nevertheless, but I don't know how a non-expert would handle Twitter data, for instance, using nothing but Cyfe's timeframe functionality. You can still use Excel and Google Spreadsheets to do it, but without cycling through some real time data, it won't be reliable either. Another remark are visuals, there is a lot to desire there. Being able to customize the colors and least would help a lot.

PROS: Cyfe is such a simple, yet smart program, which doesn't provide all integrations one could think of, but manages to compensate for the missing ones by uniting forces with Zappier. Setting up dashboards doesn't take ages like in other programs, which gave us the amazing advantage of having instant access to data. We're tracking everything, from video streams to form submissions, media interactions, and analytics, and we do it easily, day by day. We are genuinely amazed by its power, and I believe we'd spend even more on the program had that been necessary.

CONS: I am not absolutely crazy about the way the display information, but those are just small quirks I wouldn't worry about. I mean, sorting options don't always correspond to the displaying ones, or it is at least me that doesn't find information easily in certain situations.

PROS: The custom widgets are my favorite features, they are much better than Google Analytics ones! The later are pretty accurate, but they lack some real deal capacity, especially in the hands of an experienced user. We used Cyfe's iFrames to build our own platform for pulling and formatting data, and in combination with Google Analytics APIs, this turned out to be a smart decision. Cyfe also has a powerful, good looking interface (the light vs. dark contrast looks very modern!) with a cool TV displaying feature. What is also to be appreciated is security, as sharing is only possible using special passwords for the purpose.

CONS: Loading times are not always perfect, but I guess companies with immense databases cannot even expect that. I'd improve user management instead, and I'd give more than one client access credentials and editing rights to every user. This way, we're just stummbling around to figure out who is supposed to do what.
