What is DailyStory?

DailyStory is a customer engagement solution that boosts the capabilities of small businesses to easily identify and effectively engage their best customers. The software provides them with the tools they need to get a clear and detailed picture of their visitors and know when, where, and how to interact, forge, and maintain fruitful partnerships with them.

With DailyStory, small businesses have an effective and efficient solution to track, convert, and manage visitors through their journey to becoming loyal customers to your brand. The software’s customer engagement capabilities help you strike at emotions of your visitors to empower them to do your desired actions through reaction, interaction, effect, and their overall experience.

Overview of DailyStory Benefits

DailyStory helps you and your team build productive customer relationships through meaningful engagements and the delivery of unique, positive experience. The software enables you to drive the growth of your customer relationships because you know what they like, what they are looking for, when they are best contacted, and with what material.

This platform harnesses the power of emotion through positive customer interaction and engagement, resulting in them becoming interested in what you offer and eventually making your desired actions, whether purchasing your product or subscribing to your service. With DailyStory, you are able to create loyal customers out of mere visitors and grow your business exponentially.

Successful customer engagement also means better customer lifetime value as it increases their average spend with your brand. Loyalty empowers your customers to remain with your brand and with DailyStory, cultivating loyalty among your customers is very easy and highly manageable.

While other systems offer visitor tracking, analytics, and insights among others, DailyStory is a tad better. That is because you go beyond the numbers and figures. You understand them, where they come from, what they seek, and why they turn up at your site.

With DailyStory, your reach is extended with powerful features, like smart search engine marketing and link retargeting, a capability that displays your ads to people who have clicked on links you posted in emails and social networks even if they haven’t been to your website.

One to one chat conversations gives you the opportunity to engage and close deals with visitors in real time because you are able to provide them with answers they are looking for. DailyStory takes a look at your visitors’ behavior and generates forecasts on future actions, indicating their probability to convert.

What Problems Will DailyStory Solve?

A. Attributing customers to the correct campaign

Anna heads marketing for a $20M revenue B2B company that offers industrial components for 3D printers. Her paid search budget is around $5-10K/mo. A typical customer spends 30-45 days in the sales pipeline before closing. Because of the long, non-transactional sales cycle, Anna is having difficulty to correctly attribute new customers to the marketing campaign that originated them. What she really wants to find out is which of her paid search campaigns convert new customers, and more specifically which keywords they clicked on.

Anna starts to use DailyStory for her paid search campaign attribution and customer tracking. As new customers move through her pipeline she is able to lookup those customers in DailyStory and sees which campaigns and keywords originated those customers and the ROI of each of her campaigns. Based on this information she modifies her campaign investments, investing more in the campaigns that are working and reduce investments in campaigns that deliver less. After 12 months Anna is able to quantify an 18% sales lift to the pipeline based on better digital marketing ROI.

B. Understanding the customer journey

Marco is running EMEA sales for a $45M revenue B2B company that peddles computer enterprise IT hardware. The estimated sales price is $850K and the average days a customer spends in the pipeline is 90 days. In the past, Marco has studied customer behavior and interviewed his customers to learn that prior to gaining sales visibility those customers are spending 30-45 days online researching him and his competitors. Thus Marco becomes aware that his real sales pipeline is closer to 120-135 days. But Marco has restricted insight into what customers are doing before showing up in his sales pipeline as leads. He wants to know what these customers are doing in the first 30-45 days and what they are doing once in the sales pipeline, i.e the customer journey.

Marco executes DailyStory and starts following customers over the next 6-9 months, enabling him to create up a history of customer activity (customer journey) through all his digital channels. At the end of 9 months, Marco is able to use DailyStory to observe the entire journey of customers through his sales pipeline from when they first appeared and began examining, when they transformed into a lead, and what they did after turning into an opportunity.

Using this insight Marco requests a number of content and navigational adjustments to the business’s website and advertising campaigns to more prominently emphasize and highlight digital content that is strongly associated with leads that convert to customers.

Additionally, Marco can now more correctly calculated his quarterly sales pipeline based on visitor activity on his company’s website. These modifications allow Marco to develop the quality and accuracy of his pipeline forecasts and boosts his sales closure rate by 24%. Two years later Mark is promoted to run all Sales and Marketing.

C. Simple sales & marketing automation for small businesses

Mike has a Health Coaching website where he markets digital e-books and consulting/coaching time. Mike is non-technical but knows enough to know that his website is his best sales tool. He runs WordPress and is regularly issuing new blogs and content to draw visitors. Mike spends $1,500/mo on Facebook and Bing ads to attract possible customers.

Mike’s website has several HTML forms that visitors can complete, such as a Contact Us form. These easy HTML forms send Mike an email with the person’s details, but it’s Mike’s responsibility to send them a follow-up email. He uses Google Analytics to view at his daily site traffic and can’t fathom why he can’t turn more of those visitors into customers and wants to understand how effective those ad investments in Facebook and Bing actually are. He also wants to automate basic actions such as delivering a series of nurturing emails, easily adding people to his MailChimp newsletter, and using Salesforce to manage leads.

Mike decides to run a trial of DailyStory to run some simple automation and tracking on his website. Mike adds DailyStory using the WordPress plugin, integrates his existing form with DailyStory’s Magic Forms, and adds integration for both Salesforce and MailChimp. With no coding required Mike is able to track and attribute all of his leads to the ad campaigns that generated them, see his full customer journey, add email nurturing to his existing web forms, easily add new leads to his MailChimp newsletter, and use

DailyStory’s automation and workflow to automatically move accepted leads into Salesforce. Mike converts to a commercial $49/mo edition of DailyStory and based on campaign insights ends all of his Google ad campaigns and directs all of his ad investments into Facebook.
