PROS: it is 100% cloud based, or at least supposed to be!
CONS: Functions that are on desktop are not available on ipad or iphone, the most important of which is onboarding a new patient. You have to go back to desktop to operate it. For close to six months, we have had error savings with CPT codes; every time we load up CPT codes and diagnosis pointers for a SOAP note, we get ERROR Savings and we have to start all over. they have logged in live, recorded it happening, it was duplicable on three different PCs in 3 different zip codes and yet they still can't fix it. We have asked for a manager repeatedly but not one feels like picking up the phone and talking to us. Cash patients are lumped up with insurance patients, so we when you batch up to submit to insurance, you have to go one line at a time and make sure you pick the insurance ones from cash or PI ones. 10 years into operation they still don't have the ability to keep them separate. DrChrono slows the efficiency down dramatically.

CONS: Negatives- horrible customer service, expect response to your "support ticket" form days to month after. No way to contact anyone by phone. Constant , unannounced change of your account manager and other support people, assigned to your account. I had an "accidental" merge of over 2000 patient to my account from a different practice and it took me close to 1 week, to get someone's attention and have it removed. I am now fighting to stop unauthorized billing for termination of service, for over two months.. It's as messy and disorganized as it can be

PROS: None, in over 1 year the complete lack of DrCrono's costumer service has never implemented the software
CONS: A DrChrono sales rep convinced my secretary that DrChrono would make the office better and then signed a contract with her (not me). It now has been over 1 year of my credit card being charged $499/month and the software has still not been implanted. Once their sales rep made the sale and the credit card starts being charged monthly everything stops. The customer service is absolutely horrendous. DrChrono pays someone to call you on the phone in order to implement the software for your office- unfortunately he had a heavy accent and could not be understood. Weeks and months would go by before DrChrono's customer service would schedule another time when "they were available" to teach you to implement their software. Each phone call nothing would get accomplished or implemented besides them describing another product that wanted to "up-sell" us. DrChrono doesn't care, they still get $499 a month. This same thing is sill going on now-- We have been charged $499/mo for 15 months, the software has not been implemented. Now they want to charge us thousands of additional dollars to pay for more phone calls in order to implement the software they sold my secretary over a year ago. I wish I read the horrible reviews also posted about DrChrono stating "the biggest mistake of life", how terrible the customer service is, and there is no incentive for DrChrono to get the software implemented since the already sold the subscription for a year.
