Entrata Review

PROS: Setting it up and using it is easy.

CONS: The setup was easy but it took time to calibrate the settings that coincide with our workflow. We have problems with backing up data and updating information.

PROS: I love that all are in one location, it makes things really easy! We just have to open Entrata to contact prospects and residents and send emails, notifications, leases, and other documents.

CONS: The lease has some issues such as being unable to change the lease after being generated; have missing important aspects.

PROS: It was so easy to use! I like how even though I started with it not knowing a lot of its features, by only "taking a tour" on the app, I can find out how to use it. I also like how the dashboard is full of information.

CONS: I hope Entrata can train more than just the company's representative.

PROS: Entrata is simple and easy to navigate on!

CONS: It's not much related to the app itself but more on the regulations of our company's location, but we can't issue electronic leasing.

PROS: I love how all that I need is in one place! I can contact everyone through the app--from clients, prospects, current residents to employees, management, and so forth.

CONS: There are only two options to renew

PROS: The application is simple and easy to follow. I most liked the search features.

CONS: There are problems when you add the charges, they sometimes are posted more than once. Plus it doesn't sync with Yardi as much as I wanted it to.

PROS: The app helps me create and distribute invoices with ease; Payment processing has been easier with offers of different payment options; We have more access to information through the app.

CONS: It's a little hard to use; I hope that their UI gets better. In filling out forms, some items that are required are not required by Entrata so we still need to contact the clients again to ask for the information.

PROS: I don't need to leave the system to process different tasks. It has all the features for property management with little training needed to understand and use them

CONS: The automatic generation of leases has many issues. We have been repeatedly changing our settings to see what would work but it does not work. I hope it will be fixed soon.

PROS: I like that the email has a feature that lets you know if a client has seen the email or not. I like that the app keeps activity logs. And, for the most part, the UI is easy to navigate on.

CONS: I hope that during updates, the app would provide what settings were changed. Also, generating reports takes too much time.

PROS: The app is extensive and comprehensive yet simple and easy to use. All levels of our company use them for their everyday routine. What stands out for me is that the communication between us and clients improved: emails can be delivered promptly, announcements, follow-ups, notifications, among others.

CONS: Access to some information requires manual grant and it makes generating reports, changing information, and updating accounts difficult.

PROS: I cannot think of anything that puts this software above the previous software our company was using. Implementation was terrible too. It took much longer than we were told it would and it felt like we kept getting the run around and things were not completed that we were told would be.

CONS: Customer service is non-existent. I have 2 pending requests and haven't heard back from them. One is about them charging a tenant for NSF fees in their Entrata tenant account and also directly to their bank. We have been waiting 9 days for an answer. We also need to make an insurance claim and the File A Claim option is not available to our property managers so we contacted them to figure out how we can submit a claim or get this option added. Two support requests have been made in the last 4 days and we have not gotten any responses to either inquiry. It also has no mobile capability besides maintenance. You cannot pull up tenant accounts or access any other information unless you are on a computer. You can get limited capabilities on a tablet.

PROS: The application provides me with reports filled with important information.

CONS: Being on the older generation, it can take a while to use it to its full potential.

PROS: I like how everything is in one place in this app. It is a simple app but it contains everything I needed for applications, leasing, contract renewals, work orders, payments, and a lot more. It's also integrated with Yardi so we don't have any problems with miscommunication. The support team was also very helpful and very accomodating.

CONS: My company did not buy all the features of Entrata and I think it's a factor with difficulty in managing bulk renewals. We have to open each client's profile to send each of them a contract. I hope there would be a feature that could send bulk renewals.

PROS: Invoicing has improved in efficiency since we used Entrata, we have a smooth flow of transporting information from the offsite team, and reading and accessing data has been easier.

CONS: Minor Issue: Tablet app keeps on crashing/lagging; It does not hinder the day-to-day workings of our work but it would be nice to have a reliable mobile device with me especially when meeting with stakeholders and clients.

PROS: Sending out renewal offers and notifications have been a breeze with Entrata. Everything else is at your fingertips!

CONS: Pricing for renewals about furnished and unfurnished units are a bit faulty; I had difficulty accessing the premiums. I contacted them about it and they are already fixing this.
