Evergage Review

PROS: I am amazed how powerful this tool can be, and the ability to analyze our client’s behavior, to engage them and to predict churn. The good thing is that we are not limited to only one of these benefits. In addition, the product allows us to customize our customer’s experiences. Our marketing team is able to write a copy so they can get into the product and create the design. They know that the product needs to be involved so they can send right message with design. Evergage, helps us to get everything done and to set-up for approval.

CONS: If you want to use full potential of Evergage you will need more time to learn how to use this product. It is not difficult but it has a learning curve.

PROS: Evergage provides segmentation of readers, based on their actions and we are able to create additional content as banner or “pop-up” to improve the registrations and subscriptions. We can better understand our audience so we can send them more relevant information. It offers A/B testing for various content and images. We are able to improve our functionality instead of building into blogging platform first.

CONS: To be honest, I don’t use this product on a daily basis so I can’t really speak of dislikes. I have heard that the product is difficult to learn and the speed of the deployment of the idea is not fast. I believe they work on the product improvement.

PROS: Evergage offers great customer service, its team is flexible and responsive to our needs. We use this product for e-commerce purposes, and we have experienced great results.

CONS: It takes time to learn how to use the system, and it has some limitations for how and where we can deploy the recipes. The product is made for e-commerce, and this means they need to make it more flexible for different business initiatives. Also, there are some challenges for attribution funnels. On the other hand, they are always open to new ideas and suggestions.

PROS: I like that we are able to create all kinds of segments and to do analysis on many levels such as: number of visits, number of usage of specific feature, duration of the visit and many other things. We are able to integrate it with Salesforce. Evergage has great customer service and I can clearly say that all my questions are answered quickly.

CONS: We use this product for analytics, but it seems like it is made for personalization and campaigns. I think that its features are not useful for UX designers who want to keep track of how our customers are using the products. I love to do more sophisticated analytics, especially to track user paths through our product. There is always room for improvements.

PROS: With Evergage we are able to create more personalized experiences for our website based on our visitors for e.g. company size, industry, geographic location and so on, and the information we get about what they do on our site (viewing specific page, watch a video, etc.). We were looking for visitor profile product, but when we started with this one we quickly discovered the targeting option that is especially great tool for engaging users. At a company level, Evergage provides great customer service and we have dedicated customer manager that helps us to learn the product, she is very flexible and responsive to all our questions and needs.

CONS: The WSYSIWYG editor feature works using only a browser plugin, but the main problem is that this editor works only if you use same computer with the browser plugin, if you change the computer it is difficult to make quick edit. It would be great if they could embedded the editor in the web app.

PROS: Evergage offers us deeper level of specificity in how our user segments and our campaigns are being created. This product allows me to display content to specific people who work at specific company within specific state, and who have never visited our website. We are able to get them to our site via search engine. The campaigns are easily set-up and they are user-friendly. There is also WYSIWYG component to it that works extremely well and we are able to change the source code of the campaigns as well.

CONS: They use new website for support, but the old one is still active on Google, so when you search something you can find results from the old site and this can be frustrating. I prefer person support but after all I want to figure things out by myself. I believe that they work to improve this issue. Also, the main focus is on B2C space, and my company is B2B, and some labels assume that we are B2C Company and this can become annoying.

PROS: Evergage team is very responsive, open to new suggestions, and always willing to help. I am amazed how simple the product is. It is easy to use and it can be used by almost everyone in our department. It is easy to onboard and our staff can get the most out of data very quickly. I love the alerting feature, it is very easy and useful. We use it to set-up alerts when customer usage drops, we use it for each customer. Our support team is more active when it comes to engaging our customers and they get the most of their account.

CONS: It can be buggy sometimes, but it’s not big deal, this is something that all software app suffer from.

PROS: I am able to send messages to my customers directly into their account so they can get the information and sign up to participate in testing activities. Thanks to Evergage I can send messages to my customers when they most need to see them. I don’t have to email them all the time, because they could get the message out of context. The other good thing is that I can see what they are doing within the system, and this is helpful because I can better target my messages. Also, its team is extremely helpful and knowledgeable.

CONS: I found difficult to set up messages from scratch. Also, the visual editor is difficult for using if you don’t have experience with HTML or CSS. Additionally, it is difficult for me to understand how to make segments that are attached to the messages. You really have lot to learn, but once you learn how to use it is easy.

PROS: This product offers great analytics engine. Creation of new segments and usage of its tools is simple. The reporting feature is great and offers numerous options for reviewing and keeping track of the results and provides thorough information on the progress of the campaigns.

CONS: They need to work on the UI for campaign creation. It is not very intuitive and requires more knowledge. The icons are complex, but they could make them simpler. They have really improved the stats and analytics engines, but it is time to improve the UI.

PROS: Evergage has outstanding customer service, they are very responsive and they always help when we have some issues with the system, they even help in building campaigns, they always have great advices and suggestions for creating campaigns. With this product we are able to implement A/B testing and to make some changes for the product. It offers great analytics features and you can even use its features for tracking clicks and page views. We are able to keep track of things for both user an account level.

CONS: I have to say that pathing and funnel report are not very useful, because we cannot get the information we really need. Also, they could improve the visual editor and make it more intuitive. The tool is made for non-developers so it would be great if we could create campaigns directly in the editor instead in the source code area.

PROS: I am an analytic expert and I have used various products and I have experience in JavaScript and apache server features. The Evergage team answered all my requirements and they provide me with top-notch data exports for our analytics projects. I’m using this product for almost 2 years in 2 different companies and I can say that they constantly work on the product improvements and its upgrading. They constantly add useful features such as: UTM tracking, custom variables, API enhancements, custom event support, online support, export features for events and user based tracking and many other features. We use the “bucket” into segments for our A/B testing and multivariate analysis. The greatest thing I have seen from Evergage is the fact that they generate unique userID’s for each anonymous visitor and they overwrite and use that system ID, this is especially great for customer analysis and sales optimization.

CONS: The only thing that I don’t like within Evergage is its UI, it can be buggy. I wish they could make simple dashboard iPhone and android app.
