FreeAgent Review

PROS: A big factor that made me appreciate FreeAgent is its customer service providers. While the interface is already easy to use, there are still times I'm faced with some complications and I turn to FreeAgent's customer support every time. They are very helpful and great in simplifying technicalities. Plus, they take the extra time to hear you out. One time, I shared my insights on how FreeAgent can improve and suit my needs better and next thing I know these were the exact new features on the platform.

CONS: It took some time to connect with my bank accounts. It's relatively much costlier but that's understandable with the user-friendly features it provides.

PROS: FreeAgent is a must-have for small businesses and even independent business owners or service providers as it puts you in control of your business's performance, from tracking cashflow to expenses.

CONS: There is a lot of room for improvement to make it user-friendly.

PROS: I like that FreeAgent is rich with critical management functions such as billing, invoicing, bookkeeping of expenses, verification, and daily time recording. This is the perfect app for small businesses like us. We can focus on enhancing our products and services rather and leave much of the management and monitoring work on this platform.

CONS: It's not friendly for beginners so it would need to provide an intensive guide for a few days in the early phase of using it, especially that activating many of its functions are different compared to many others I have used. In all, I won't recommend the free version

PROS: FreeAgent simplifies management, extremely helpful if you have multiple accounts.

CONS: An overall annual report on expenses, cash flow and taxes would be great.

PROS: As a freelancer, filing taxes used to be an onerous task. I'm very grateful to have stumbled upon FreeAgent so now I don't have to worry come tax season. Payment methods are also very easy as FreeAgent integrates with several third-party payment facilities.

CONS: I feel that the design is a bit outdated.

PROS: Freeagent is great for small businesses because provides with great book keeping solution. The interface is intuitive and clear. I love the ability to add expenses via mobile app so the users can input expenses in real-time.

CONS: I think the product is made for UK audience, because there are many things that are not clear for the US audience. They need to implement more functions. They need to improve their integration with other smaller banks. I need to manually download and then upload bank statements so I can categorize them, it’s time-wasting.

PROS: Our accounting and billing operations have been dependent on FreeAgent for as long as I could remember. Its interface is user-friendly, it automated invoice sending which is great to remind delayed payers.

CONS: Our accountants report having issues with the system as our company bank account would disconnect from time to time. But we can reconnect immediately thanks to customer care.

PROS: FreeAgent helped me run my business smoothly. Transactions are very easy to handle even as you apply multiple accounts into the system as it integrated with them in just one day.

CONS: I haven't found anything to dislike about FreeAgent but would definitely be thrilled if it could work on payrolls on a weekly basis.

PROS: As freelance consultat I had to pay for business expenses out of my pocket and then getting reimbursed by the company, but now with FreeAgent everything is simple and straightforward.

CONS: I had some difficulties when learning different categories for expeses but once I learned it everything became easier.

PROS: Freeagent is very intuitive and easy to operate. Their support team is great and really helpful, also its in-app help is very good. I love the integration with Dropbox. I can use it even from my mobile device. These all are part of 3rd party services.

CONS: As your company grows you will find some limitations from Freeagent software. If I want to prepare tax I need to do it by an accountant on the back end. Also, the software doesn’t provides you with other CRM tools and sales forecasting. When I want to pull in new user to freeagent I need to manage pipeline in separate app first.

PROS: I like working with FreeAgent because it provides great book-keeping options. The UI is clear and intuitive. It allows me to add expenses through mobile app and users can input expenses whenever they want.

CONS: They have made the product for UK audience there are some things that are not clear for US audience. It would be great if they could implement more functions and to improve the integration with other banks. In addition, I don’t like that I have to download manually and then upload bank statement again so I can categorize them.

PROS: What I like most about this tool is the fact that it provides me with real time tax information and bank account integration. It provides complete visibility of the income and expenses and it shows me my profit position in real time. With it I can get things done through smartphone, tablet or laptop, I can send invoices and check my balance on the go.

CONS: They could add more app integrations.

PROS: With FreeAgent I get updated view on the current tax position. Also, i like that I can create and send invoices easily based on the templates. I have to say that everything is simple and straightforward with FreeAgent especially when it comes to accounting and invoices.

CONS: It doesn’t allow me to create bill in foreign currency or to add multiple contacts per company.

PROS: I like how intuitive FreeAgent is, you can easily operate it and you can always ask for guidence. Its support team is highly helpful and knowledgeable. There is strong integration with DropBox. The other good thing is that I can use it from mobile device.

CONS: As our company grows we can experience some limitations from FreeAgent. I don’t like that for preparing tax to do it by accountant on the back end. Also, there are no other CRM tools and sales forcasting. Additionally, If I want to pull in new user to the system I have to manage the pipeline in separate app first and then do the rest.
