PROS: HotSchedules is an effective employee communications tool. As long as the employees have internet, HotSchedules' built-in messaging feature notifies staff about their schedules, time off requests and swaps, meetings and staff-wide updates in real time.
CONS: Nothing major, but it would be great if I also have access to the schedule of other colleagues.

PROS: I like being able to view, create and tweak your schedule more conveniently via the logbook and reporting feature of the app. I also like being able to see who I'll be working with and the total number of hours I'll be working on a weekly basis.
CONS: HotSchedules could use some minor tweaks to solve lags on the logbook and task tickbox, and maybe making the mobile app free for use.

CONS: It would be better if the app were free and more adaptable to mobile devices. We could also use a more intuitive website and notifications for available shifts we can pick up.

PROS: My highlight HotSchedules feature is the notes tool that lets me add notes about my or my fellow managers' shifts. You can also use it as a reference when you need to settle staffing concerns.
CONS: We could use more streamlining when it comes to the daily printout schedule.

PROS: I've been a HotSchedules user for several years. I love that it's designed so well that you can see your schedule, who else is on the same shift and who isn't. Staff communications are now so easy because everyone's contact information is there.
CONS: I wish there's a quicker way for managers to upload their staff's schedules.
