HotSchedules Review

PROS: I can access HotSchedules at any time. It's organized so well that I can see my work schedule, approved holidays, and messages from colleagues and management.

CONS: It would help if I can also see my colleagues' schedules more accurately too.

PROS: I like being able to view, create and tweak your schedule more conveniently via the logbook and reporting feature of the app. I also like being able to see who I'll be working with and the total number of hours I'll be working on a weekly basis.

CONS: HotSchedules could use some minor tweaks to solve lags on the logbook and task tickbox, and maybe making the mobile app free for use.

PROS: With HotSchedules, I can easily access my work schedule and if there are last-minute changes made, even while I'm attending classes at school.

CONS: I'd like to see my colleagues’ schedules in a simpler format.

PROS: It shares my available hours and notifies me about my shift assignments. I can also see my colleagues' contact information and what they're working on with me in real time.

CONS: It would be better if the app were free and more adaptable to mobile devices. We could also use a more intuitive website and notifications for available shifts we can pick up.

PROS: My highlight HotSchedules feature is the notes tool that lets me add notes about my or my fellow managers' shifts. You can also use it as a reference when you need to settle staffing concerns.

CONS: We could use more streamlining when it comes to the daily printout schedule.

PROS: I like that the app is a convenient way for us to get notified about our schedules and messages from the company to all staff.

CONS: I have no doubt the login/out glitch on the mobile app will be resolved in future updates.

PROS: I've been a HotSchedules user for several years. I love that it's designed so well that you can see your schedule, who else is on the same shift and who isn't. Staff communications are now so easy because everyone's contact information is there.

CONS: I wish there's a quicker way for managers to upload their staff's schedules.

PROS: HotSchedules is an incredibly convenient mobile app for releasing and swapping work shifts, request time off and receive work update notifications.

CONS: The mobile app is not free, but it's all yours after you pay for it.

PROS: I like that HotSchedules lets me see my and my coworkers' schedules so it's easy to swap and request for time-off and schedule changes.

CONS: I look forward to a time when HotSchedules would also let us create group chats for discussions as needed

PROS: Because of the messaging feature that enables email and text notifications and shows colleague's contact information, it's so easy to show my availability and communicates with the team.

CONS: I'd love to receive notifications when a shift is released and is up for grabs.

PROS: I like that HotSchedules is constantly updated to make it easy for us to look at our work hours and get in touch with colleagues because their contact information is available on the same platform.

CONS: It's more convenient to navigate the app and use the calendar function on the mobile app, but it's not free. The website could use improvements that the app has.

PROS: HotSchedules is an effective employee communications tool. As long as the employees have internet, HotSchedules' built-in messaging feature notifies staff about their schedules, time off requests and swaps, meetings and staff-wide updates in real time.

CONS: Nothing major, but it would be great if I also have access to the schedule of other colleagues.

PROS: It's so useful that I am able to see my weekly schedule in advance and reach out to my co-workers when I need to

CONS: It would be great if we can request time off in bulk, instead of doing it per day and time.

PROS: It's a great scheduling tool that is easy to use for leads to create, manage and print schedules, as well as address requests for staff's easy viewing.

CONS: Not many people at work use the messaging feature.
