LeashTime Review

The integrated scheduling built in to LeashTime is an outstanding feature. With this functionality, users will be able to quickly build up schedules of visits based on the availability of pet sitters and requests by pet owners. They can edit and cancel visit schedules. They can also configure the preferences settings to set up the number of future days that  LeashTime creates visits for.

LeashTime allows users to prepare ongoing schedules. Such schedules are set up for clients who are requesting same services every week. With automated scheduling, they will be able to set up schedules once and create visits to fulfill those schedules. This is more convenient compared to setting up schedules for the same services every week, every two weeks, or every month. LeashTime has a type of ongoing schedule wherein a client pays per performed and completed visit.

Through the aid of the  Schedule Editor, creating an ongoing per visit schedule  is easy. The Schedule Editor enables them to select the start and end dates of the visits. They will also be able to assign a pet sitter to perform the service. An example of such service is dog walk: users will be able to select the specific times to perform such service. Based on the request of the pet owner, they can select morning, afternoon, or evening. They can also add a new service, such as feeding the pets, by clicking the Add another Service button.

The interesting part of this functionality is it automatically calculates the charge and pay rate once the schedule is created. The total weekly charge to the client and the pay due to the pet sitter/s are  shown on the Schedule Editor. Given the fact that not all pet sitters have the same pay rates, the system will automatically calculate the pay rate based on the sitter assigned to do the visit. The charge to client is calculated automatically based on the type of service and the number of pets. Scheduling in LeashTime is so easy and saves a lot of time.

Another beneficial feature of LeashTime is its utilization of GPS to track pet sitters. With this functionality, users will be able to send reports to clients consisting of route map, check-in time, check-out or completion time, and visit notes. This will help users gain the confidence and loyalty of their clients.

Key management is also an interesting functionality that allows users to identify the pet sitters who need  keys, as well as the time when the keys will be used. The location of duplicate keys are also shown by the software. The key management functionality of LeashTime improves customer service, as it ensures that sitters have the right keys at the right time.
