PROS: It not only tracks users but also activities that those users were involved in your website. This helps you to identify your users with the activities that were involved in your website. For example, what they bought and where they visited. With that information, you can you can add another service and properties to the system such that you send tailored emails to specific visitors or leads.

CONS: The implementation process of the tool is complex and not intuitive. The setup is not well thought out for beginner or for a first time user of Mixpanel. It would be better if it was a stepwise process such that you implement one strategy at a time. Also, it does not offer a solution on how you can interact or build relationships through in-page texts.

PROS: It helps you to know the visitors to your website well. You can track data that is coming for people who visit your website with ease. When compared with Google analytics, it offers a far much better tracking solution for the events taking place in your website. You can thus be able to know your leads, how to handle them and create personas on the same.

CONS: It offers a friendly user interface in the case of setting up the system to track activities and page loads for your website. However, it can be complex in so many ways which will require you to have a developer at your disposal for the advanced part. This comes when you are comparing the statistics you have collected with the tool against the actual data.

PROS: It integrates well for application and website needs of the developers. This provides them with a wider platform to manage their apps and track activities with ease. The tool is well documented such that it offers top-notch tracking and analytics solutions for developers. Also, it has quality design which adds to its efficiency.

CONS: Although it is documented well, the tool has some issues with it. It is not easy to delete an alias user on your own. You need extra help which can be disappointing and time consuming. Such issues limit users from addressing more worthy queries and an improvement on this would be better.

PROS: It provides better analytical solutions as compared to other software application in the same industry. You can follow up on how often a particular link is being clicked with the help of this tool. It also has a flow chart that allows you to check on the activities of the users. On top of that, it is free even for websites with high traffic or rank. However, you need to include on your website the powered by Mixpanel button.

CONS: It does not integrate as it should with other analytics applications such as Google. It would be better if this integration was intuitive as this would help the tool work well on our part. When it comes to analysis, Google has many users and thus such integration would lead to more accurate results in terms of analytics.

PROS: It offers a great platform on which you can keep track of the behaviors of your visitors to your website. This is made possible through tracking of the events or activities that take place. You are able to know exactly what a section of users did on your website. This way, you can target leads based on what they are looking for and thus tailored marketing strategy. Where visitors are no longer engaging in activities they were engaging before, you can find ways to ring them back.

CONS: They only have email as a way to reach the customer support. Although the email response is fast, it would be better if I could get a live chat or even a phone call. Getting reports of analysis data on which devices were used to access our app the most is not easy. So is when you want to get data on devices that least accessed our app. This could also be made easier.

PROS: It takes analysis to a whole new level. The push app and A/B testing features in the tool allows it to track the activities in your website and know what your users want. It is the modern version of an analysis tool that comes to help out developers in a great way. For my case, it has helped me to cut my analysis work by half and bring in more features that I did not know existed. The fact that it can analyze, track bugs in the app makes it an even more effective tool. You can track all the activities in your application through accurate and in-depth analysis.

CONS: Despite the tool offering the best analysis for any developer, it is not that user friendly. The documentation is complex for any developer who is a beginner. It has a learning curve and thus not easy for a beginner to get around all the features the tool has to offer in a short period.

This is not the case with Google analytics. It makes it easy for frontend developers when they want to use the tool in coding. This is due to how it integrates well with other tools. Developers can drop the code fast and proceed with tracking the activities or users instead. The customer support is top-notch and they have an informative blog to help you out on the same.

CONS: It can be an expensive platform, especially if the apps you develop are on a freemium plan. This means that little revenue is coming and but you end up paying for Mixpanel. It is mostly the case for those who are managing a consumer app. As for the user interface, it has a learning curve which implies that those who are not tech savvy can take a lot of time to get to explore all the features of the product. It would be better in future is they could improve the product based on the issues we face while using the product.

PROS: Since I work for a SaaS company, we need to know what our users are looking for so that we can determine their needs and fulfill them on the same. Mixpanel has come out to help us with this as we can get all the statistics that relate to how many users are active and what they were looking for in our app. It has great reporting capabilities and the setup is easy for anyone.

CONS: All is good with the tool apart from the price part. At the moment, we are expecting more users for our app which will send the price to go high. This is because Mixpanel pricing plans are based on the amount of users you have.

You can utilize the A/B testing features and in-app notifications for users who have accessed your app. This feature tracks activities of your users and which devices they used to access your app to help you provide tailored services.

CONS: The more you have to track the higher you have to pay for the service. It tracks based on the amount of data you analyze. This means that a start-up with low revenue, it can be difficult to manage the costs of this tool. It would be better if there were custom price plans so that everyone can afford to use the tool.
