PROS: I have nothing but high praise for my creative and helpful Nuvi rep. The vendor provides top rate customer support. My rep has helped me understand the product clearly and create specific, intuitive monitors. I have been able to find leads on which we have built our entire community. Nuvi is a top notch product backed up by amazing customer service.

CONS: I have no complaints as Nuvi has helped me find a great new job as I used it in my social strategy for the pitch.

PROS: I love the Stream view of all mentions as it is very actionable. It tells you what is important and what needs priority. The pricing packages are flexible and affordable. The entry barrier is low and we can easily scale up to meet our growing business demands.

CONS: It is tough to get the right combinations of keywords and syntax + structure, especially when your focus is on the number of mentions processed every month. To be fair, the vendor’s support team provides great help to enable you to craft them and they do not mind temporary overages.

PROS: I love that Nuvi brings alive real-time conversations. We use the app to make educated decisions about our client’s overall strategy, content direction, and social business. It allows us to easily create profiles to monitor client and competitor intelligence. Plus, we can create detailed and accurate PDF reports to share with our clients and team members. Finally, we can get customized text or email alerts that keep us updated about crucial developments when we are on the go.

CONS: There are a couple of areas that could be improved. Currently, historical data pulls only Twitter and needs to include all social networks. Second, Nuvi software should add a feature that can measure specific metrics such as impressions, post frequency, etc. related to competitor social audits.

PROS: Nuvi has become indispensable for me over the past year I’ve been using it. The system is intuitive and easy to use. My account manager provides stellar support and smart suggestions and guidance to help me make full use of the app. The channel monitors are visually attractive and offer insights not provided by other systems. Finally, the easy reporting features save me plenty of time.

CONS: I have no peeves but would like to have the ability to monitor review websites such as TripAdvisor and Yelp.

PROS: I love that Nuvi offers many excellent features. We initially used it for listening/monitoring but now are using more of its functionality. Our account manager helps us get the maximum out of the tool by informing and educating our team on how to use all the features effectively. We like the Stream feature as well as the reports created by the app. The dashboards for each monitor are easy to use.

CONS: Sentiment can be reported inaccurately but this can be corrected easily. Nuvi doesn’t offer us all the metrics we need such as top performing posts and follower growth, so we are using other apps to get that info.

PROS: For me, the highlights of Nuvi are the easy to use interface, excellent visual analytics, and affordable price. It makes available years of history of our social accounts within seconds.

CONS: I am a data warehouse manager and would appreciate having direct API access to export results as a data feed. This would enable me to easily combine internal and social data.

PROS: The feature is I appreciate most is being able to specifically customize my monitor. I would also like to mention our contact rep at Nuvi who provides us with timely assistance at all times, educates us about new features, tips, and tricks, and even helps with client work.

CONS: The major drawback is you cannot indicate words and phrases as negative in the setup. This results in inaccurate reading and I have to spend a lot of time to manually change negative mentions to neutral or positive. Another minus point is Nuvi can house only a limited number of mentions per hour. This is a disadvantage when your brand has a major spike in chatter within a short time.

PROS: I like that the interface is easy to use and I can visualize even complex data. I can easily create social media monitoring and analysis reports. The app is scalable for multiple monitoring clients without having to pay more. Finally, the customer support is top notch and the vendor is really interested in improving their product.

CONS: There are a couple of glitches. First, we are based in Australia and the vendor does not offer live support in our time zone. Second, there can be slight lag when you pull through monitoring data to report data.
