What is QuestionPro?

QuestionPro is a web-based survey application for small and medium companies, the same as enterprises. It enables companies to easily create online polls and surveys, and share them with a targeted set of users in order to make business decisions based on the responses collected. The app has been developed by QuestionPro Inc. who design online survey and workflow software for millions of customers across the globe.

QuestionPro includes multiple pre-built survey templates and more than 30 question types, which can be used by companies to create questionnaires and personalized surveys. It offers tools to reach respondents through email, integrated pop-ups, and survey posting on social networks including Facebook and Twitter.

Companies can choose from more than 20 professional survey themes using inbuilt tools to customize headers and footers with company logos, videos, audio, pictures, and HTML content for the complete branding of surveys. Each survey highlights a survey progress bar which lets the respondent know the percentage of the survey completed/remaining. Users can generate flexible surveys by keeping certain fields mandatory for respondents and the rest optional, ensuring that primary questions are answered within the survey.

QuestionPro survey can also be used to compute scores for the number of questions answered by the respondent and immediately present overall scores upon survey completion. The survey response can be exported into CSV, Excel, and other supported formats. Users can also share surveys with respondents and collect responses through the mobile app available for Android and iOS-based tablets and smartphones.

PROS: I like the platform’s ease of use and the speed of creating surveys. Only minor modifications are needed when creating duplicate surveys, saving me a lot of time doing the task.

CONS: The export process of the survey’s PDF version needs improvement as well as the printing process. Other than that, the platform is good.

PROS: QuestionPro allows me to conduct surveys without unnecessary complications. Drafting questions, designing surveys, sending them out—these are all very easy tasks to do with QPro. And after all, has been done, it’s just as easy to extract reports and view the live statistics as well to see how many customers are engaging with the survey.

CONS: I’d like to be able to pose more clarifying questions to my respondents. However, QPro only offers basic questions to be added to our surveys. This might work for those who simply want a top-view look into the feedback of their demographics.

PROS: I love the CX assessment tool! The tool allows us to measure the business’s customer experience and take necessary actions accordingly. It helps us assess four areas of the business – the Learning, Culture, Design and Vision. Collecting information is easy and figuring out what area of the business need improvement is a no brainer. The data we gather using this tool is really valuable to our team and generally to business growth.

PROS: We use QuestionPro to conduct weekly pulse survey and it’s great. We can get immediate results and also can automate employee engagement. Through pulse survey, we can figure out things that are going on around the organization and take necessary actions. It’s very beneficial to the company.

CONS: There is no drawback. But the platform is just basic - offering functionalities and features to conduct surveys, create questionnaires, etc. I wish they will also provide something that will allow us to not only figure out the problems but also assist us in solving them

PROS: Much like all survey tools, QPro is, of course, just as good as the one who comes up with the survey questions. However, it is easy to use, reliable, and can give you actionable insights through their reports.

PROS: We can create complex surveys quickly. It’s easy to customize surveys and add company logo and themes as well as multimedia elements such as videos and graphics. If you don’t want to create a new survey, you can simply copy a professionally written template.

CONS: The functionalities and the type of questions that can be added in the surveys are limited. It would be nice if the vendor and developers would add more like social tools for sharing survey results.

PROS: Among the things I like about this platform include the variety of survey questions you could possibly ask, the suggested question types, the templates, and customization capabilities. The suggested question types will be very helpful for those who are creating new surveys for the first time or just need some ideas. The personalization features, on the other hand, allow us to give a personal touch to the surveys so our respondents know that it is us who are conducting the survey.

CONS: We usually randomly pick and give a prize to one respondent who completed our survey. With QuestionPro, we have to do the process manually. We manually discover who finished the survey and pick one who’ll win a prize. It requires too much work. So it would be great if the platform offers an ability to select a winning participant randomly and send the result to us via email.

PROS: In terms of functionalities, I think that there are better ones out there. However, QPRo comes a close second to the one that I prefer, and at a fraction of the cost! So we went for the most value for our money and decided to go with QPro. So far, it hasn’t disappointed us. They are backed up by a team of competent representatives. They are equal parts friendly and useful, which I truly appreciate. There is that underlying genuineness in their response too, so you know that they aren’t just there to make a sale and then leave you hanging.

CONS: Giving access to multiple users seems to be an ongoing struggle for us. Every time we request for an additional user to our team, we have to go through a series of red-tape processes that can be quite tiring.

PROS: I am currently trying to use the system to finish an online interactive review process and I find it easy to use. I can easily find the basic tools and functionalities I need. There are also questionnaire samples that can serve as inspirations. I am looking forward to using it as I believe it will make the creation of questionnaires and other forms more seamless, which can be beneficial to both the employees from around the globe and to the company. It is also worth to mention the product’s excellent service. I like the team’s patience and willingness to help you solve your concerns.

CONS: There is no table of contents, index or something like that with lists of the location of particular information. For an old school person like me, this can be a drawback because I still have to guess what to click to find the information I am looking for. It would be wonderful if there is a manual that contains something like a table of contents.

PROS: In terms of functionalities, I think that QPro is just as good as the next available tool in the market. However, what sets it apart is their customer support team. We have worked with various survey tools in our almost 4 decades in the business, and QPro’s team has been the most impressive. They can competently answer questions right away. And when you give suggestions for an added functionality, they don’t just add it to a pile and leave you with bated breath as you hope that they will integrate this into the tool. Their response rates to suggestions are swift, which I absolutely appreciate. There are no add-on fees as well.

CONS: Logging in to QPro can take quite a while. I hope that they would improve this part too. It would be nice if they allowed us to work with other teams outside of our company. Right now, access is limited to just people from our team. Hopefully, down the road, they look into this and give us more freedom in terms of giving out accessibility.

PROS: We initially tried the free version to get a better feel of the tool. Impressed by its functionalities, we decided to upgrade our account—one of the best decisions we’ve made in the company. QuestionPro is reliable and it gives you freedom over the design of your surveys. The reports you can obtain from it are also very thorough and complete.

CONS: The functionalities are all there—you just have to know how to properly utilize each. It will help if you have the technical know-how as well. This is not the best option for beginners as they will likely have a steeper learning curve than the ones who have had prior training.

PROS: I am using this platform to collect information and it does give results. I can get and gather feedback from customers. Aside from that, the software is very easy to use. I didn’t go through any training or spent a significant amount of time and effort in learning how to use the platform.

CONS: This software is not a unique one. You can find many other platforms that offer the same functionalities. But so far, it performs fairly well and is useful.
