SalonIQ Review

SalonIQ is a group salon software designed to support the management of multiple salons at once. This is one of the reasons why the software is used mostly by salon franchisers who have businesses and franchise partners located in multiple locations, but which operate under one company, trademark, and sell the same line of products.

As a group salon software, SalonIQ also has a feature that allows users to view, track, and assess the performances of their salons in terms of KPIs, services, and retail. This feature is applied in the team dashboard which has the capability to generate information based on salon groups or individuals within a salon group. The team dashboard is customizable and by configuring the global settings users can set up how the dashboard would appear across the salon groups.

Through the team dashboard, users would be able to view stars and flags which indicate how salon groups or individuals are performing. Through the dashboard they would be able to view their top performing specialists and employees and those that have poor performance for a particular range of time which can be daily, weekly,4 weekly, monthly or they can set the period based on their preference.

The team dashboard would show the performances based on care factor, retail, client count, request rate and rebooking rate. For instance, if an individual got low on care factor, retail, and client count; the dashboard would show red flags for such individual. However, if the individual performs high on other KPIs such as rebooking rate and request rate, stars would show such high performance. In addition, users can also view the statistics of an individual or salon groups indicating the number of new clients, requests, new requests, as well as their average bill. The team dashboard also shows the brands and product types that they sold.

Another feature of Salon-IQ is its Guest Attraction System. This is a client referral system that allows users to automatically send SMS and emails to their clients after a service is done thanking and reminding them to refer the service and salon to their friends. When a new client avails the services of the salon as the result of a successful referral, the new client would receive a discount and client who referred him or her would also receive a discount for his or her next visit. As a feature that promotes an automatic reward system, salons would be able to grow and maintain loyal clients resulting to higher revenues.

With this feature the burden of writing marketing emails to promote the services and products of a salon is removed.
