SAP Analytics Cloud Review

PROS: This has one of the largest databases in the market. Extraction of reports is really easy with SAP too. Another thing that sets this tool apart is that it allows users to edit the file even after extraction.

CONS: I guess the program gets overworked when we deal with macros because it lags when we do.

PROS: This program translate really well online. I’m glad they upgraded into a cloud-based version. It has so many new functionalities, which I like too.

CONS: The regression reports need to be improved, in my opinion.

PROS: I like that SAP is regularly improving its program, and introducing new features. One such rollout that I’m really happy with is its availability (finally!) as a web-based tool. Getting started is no issue here too, plus it works really well with related apps.

CONS: The premium price can be quite hefty. It’s a little difficult to find the budget for it.

PROS: We've had really good feedback from the team re:the loading of Internet of Things.

CONS: The dashboard can be quite confusing--especially for someone who isn't too familiar with programs such as this.

PROS: SAP has come a long way from its early days of providing a toolbox for data analysis and manipulation. I like how this is now web-based, allowing me to work anytime and anywhere without worrying over data accessibility. I was able to use the free one-month trial too, which really allowed me to get a feel of the tool before committing to paying for the premium. There is a pretty solid community of users who are always happy to answer questions about the product as well.

CONS: Because it is web-based, you can only perform tasks that are just as good as your connection. That is to say that if your internet isn’t high-speed, you shouldn’t expect to accomplish high-speed worthy tasks too. The integration availability in this upgraded version does not seem to work seamlessly too. I hope the developers would look into this. To top it all off, licensing is accomplished per user and I think this costs more money than a bulk subscription.

PROS: You’d need to learn the basics of coding, but once you get the hang of it, this tool is actually very user-friendly and anticipates the user’s needs.

CONS: I don’t like how I’d still need to pay for add-ons when I’ve already paid for the premium membership.

PROS: I love that we can now keep all of our data in one place now. The recent rollout has made this tool available on cloud too--an impressive feat considering that it can be quite a challenge to create mobile-friendly reports. But SAP somehow achieves this quite successfully.

CONS: The dashboard is a little complicated to navigate. You’d have to be familiar with similar programs to utilize this tool fully.

PROS: What I love best about this solution is that it helps me organize my data and perform comparisons. It allows me to check one set of data against the other, regardless of variables. I can easily audit and edit information on my database with this too.

CONS: Although it is very useful, learning to manipulate data through this tool can be quite tricky. I would recommend beginners to really take their time in getting to know each function first before jumping right in to tasks. A word of warning as well: you will need to free up your day when dealing with this tool because it will take its sweet time.

PROS: The layout is pretty simple and straightforward and the commands are quite easy to locate. I also like that this tool is now cloud-based.

CONS: The tool intermittently clocks out if you let it go idle for a while. But this isn’t much of a big deal for me.

PROS: I think that this is a brilliant addition to SAP’s many programs. It can help you produce great-looking reports, giving you a lot of options on how you want to present your data. Of course the tool isn’t just limited to helping you churn out aesthetically pleasing results, it is also loaded with dozens of functionalities too.

CONS: I think that it is a little clunky for its price. I usually find myself having a hard time making this work with other programs. It’s quite difficult to familiarize yourself with too.

PROS: I like how SAP takes the guesswork from analyzing data. And the best part? Everything can be accessed from one central location now that it is available on cloud. Its interpretations of quantitative data is pretty straightforward too.

CONS: It lacks the reliability and sheer number of features found in other analytics tools, but this works fine for us.

PROS: I love how SAP allows me to access and manage the database of different silos in our company. These databases can be quite large but SAP makes them manageable for me.

CONS: You need to dedicate time and energy to get to know the tool first, because it’s easy to get lost in figuring it out.
